Would the same be true for any spell that used fire and water?

In the game I'm playing I am a wood wizard and looking for a good prestige class. So far my feats are spell casting prodigy, collegiate wizard and combat casting. My DM also gave me access to druid wood spells and wu jen spells but I can not learn fire spells. All pathfinder, 3.5 and 3.5 compatible books are allowed.

In the description of the Fiery Body spell it says that you are immune to electricity but in the very next sentence it says that you take half damage from electricity.

You are immune to blindness, critical hits, ability score damage, deafness, disease, drowning, electricity, poison, stunning, and all spells that affect your physiology or respiration. You take only half damage from acid or electricity.

Can any one clarify this for me
