One option is not to allow cross-class skills at 1st level.
While it may standardize skill choice for 1st-level characters, it will prevent the 1st level rogue/wizard-to-be with all Knowledge skills maxed out to 20th level.

Another option is to include skills in class level progression, much like feats for fighters :
• say 2+Int at 1st level for everyone
• 3.5 8 pts : +1 skill at level 2 • 3 • 4 • 5 • 6 • 7
• 3.5 6 pts : +1 skill at level 2 • 4 • 6 • 8
• 3.5 4 pts : +1 skill at level 3 • 6
Or any design around these lines, worked out class by class.

Note that you may use this second option AND limit the aquisition of cross-class skills to those skills gained through "normal advancement process" (p. 20), meaning every even overall character level.

And then have some prestige classes add more skills to characters (Loremasters might be a good example : maybe instead of additionnal languages).

Ok then, I'll use my Dexterity instead of my Strength to :

• Trip or Grapple : ok.
• Overrun : I can live with that, though it seems moving through an opponent's space by means of Dexterity is already covered with Tumble skill.
• Sunder : this is starting to be funny !
• Bull rush : oh my… !

Most of the time, I understand why I could use Dexterity to defend against these maneuvers, but to perform them using your Dexterity bonus seems rather blunt.

As for Disarming, combat-heavy rogues and fighters built on high Dexterity scores now need another feat to resist disarm with their weapons besides Weapon Finesse.
You may argue, since you removed the Combat Expertise pre-requesite from your printing of Improved Disarm, this is equivalent, but most rogues will still need Combat Expertise as a pre-requesite for Improved Feint since you didn't alter it (yet !).

All in all, this needs some fixing.

I read the Feint rule and got a little confused as to what you intend to oppose this maneuver to.

No less than three different ablities interfere :

• If my opponent is wise, he has a better chance to detect a feint since base DC is 10 + opponent's BAB + opponent's Wisdom modifier.
• Wait now, if he is trained in detecting such attempts, we don't care anymore how wise he is, it's a matter of Charisma, since DC is 10 + opponent's Deception modifier.
• Then again, if my opponent is really, really dumb, meaning animal or lower intelligence, Feint is harder (+8 to DC) or impossible…

Note that under this rule, a Fighter who chooses Deception as one of his skill at 1st level, and has the same score in Widsom and Charisma, will oppose a feint with his skill at low level, then with his BAB + Wisdom from 4th level on. If Charisma exceed Wisdom by 2, 4 or 6, then the shift will be delayed by the same amount of levels but wil nevertheless occur.
Sad way of being better trained to detect such attempts than any average guy with +1 BAB/level.

Whether it's Intelligence, Widsom or Charisma I don't really care, but please do make a choice.

Also : DC to feint a dog is 12 higher than DC to feint a trained human fighter ?
4 because the dog ain't humanoid, 8 because he's not to bright…
I don't think so ! Get rid of it :)
