Background:
--------------------
Zavon Nightgrim's origins were as tumultuous as the chaos of battle itself. Born to a human mother and an orc father amidst the squalor of a war-torn village, he learned early how prejudice can shape destinies. As a half-orc, Zavon struggled for acceptance in both worlds; his childhood was marked by distrust from the townsfolk who feared his lineage and disdain from orc warriors who scorned him for his human heritage. Yet beneath this rough exterior lay an unwavering spirit fueled by visions he encountered during restless nights — dreams of shadowy figures clad in dark armor bestowing justice upon wrongdoers. These images would become the guiding light that led Zavon to serve.
Embracing these tenets wholeheartedly, Zavon became an agent dedicated to purging evil from the land while striving against societal prejudices that branded him both lesser and untrustworthy due to his bloodline. He fought fiercely on countless battlefields; however, it wasn't long before his superiors recognized another talent within him: stealth. Gifted with uncanny instincts not often found among average warriors, Zavon was recruited into an elite cadre known as The Veil in service to the Pathfinders — spies tasked with gathering intelligence on dark forces threatening peace across regions steeped in tension between warring tribes and factions.
