The ryphorian concentrates and summons three tiny stars, one after the other. With the slightest nod toward the specter, the stars swirl around Faraeon and into their foe.

Zatheses draws his pistol from his belt and fires it at the red skinned beast as it reveals itself.

Zatheses swiftly brushes the aggressive maggots from his face before they can burrow inside his flesh and stomps on them.

"That was unpleasant," he comments dryly, then stomps on the grease smears once more for good measure, belying his calm.

Zatheses says a traveler's prayer over the dead kasatha before attempting to move them to the place beside the airlock where the android remains were placed.

"The robot was not Blue Sky," he comments as he passes Faraeon, "and androids do not run on batteries."

"Would an analog solution open the door?" Zatheses asks.

"How desperate these Starfinders must have been, waiting alone in the Vast," Zatheses says sadly as he looks over the complicated arrangement in the engine room.

"Don't cut the red wire!" pipes his watch's AI, unhelpfully.

Zatheses frees a crate to store the dead--or what remains of any dead they find--next to the air lock for faster retrieval once they are ready to return to the Pegasus.

"Possibly the user was trying to vent something dangerous into space--something more dangerous than depressurization," Zatheses suggests to 0689.

Zatheses taps the wall around one of the holes with his staff and grimly states, "Blood. Android synth-blood and another creature's blood here."

Zatheses shakes his head and gestures to Faraeon to take the force baton.

Zatheses notes the damaged holoprojector. He moves around the powered-down combat dummy to watch Swirzs work. He offers the ysoki a pair of minipliers instead of magnopliers.

His watch beeps and then speaks: "Those are the wrong pliers. He wants these." An image forms on the mystic's watch.

Engineering (Aid Another): 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 1 = 16

"We probably should not leaving things that scream to our rear," Zatheses comments, pointing at the captain's quarters.

Zatheses grabs a rod from over his shoulder and extends it into a battle staff as something screeches from the starboard side of the hall.

"Something awaits us," he states as he follows the lashunta into the hall.

Zatheses activates his environmental protections before transferring to the stranded kasathan ship. A retractable helmet expands over his head, and a clear visor descends. The simplest of environmental information displays on the glass.

He leaps into the airlock and engages his magnetic boot clamps, allowing him to walk in the absence of gravity.

"We should restore environmental systems if we can," the ryphorian suggests.

Mysticism (Take 10): 10 + 6 = 16

"An etheric storm is encroaching," Zatheses warns. "It will destroy what it is in its path and is moving far too fast for us to tow the Struggle's Scholar away."

"Generous," Zatheses says as the vesk yield and leave a parting gift as well.

He waits patiently as the machine works at decoding the message.

"The scanner report indicates that their hull can take much more than that," Zatheses reassures Ehdd.

Zatheses tries to guide the forward laser cannon at the distant vesk ship.
