Zee connects using his hidden s-complink. The link is uncovered from his hose that inserts into the linkage and begins to whirl. Use Computer skill checks:
Status Hostile
Success: Status is Unfriendly
Success: Status is Indifferent
Success: Status is Friendly Zee looked like a cleaning droid and his personality was a cleaning droid but he'd been re-dedicated to software infiltration. His systems cut through the firewalls in almost record time. Zee flashes on his video screen a pic of wookiee with a huge grinning smile and a shaggy paw in the universal thumbs up position. Deception:
Spend a force point to power Fool's Luck to get +5 bonus to Deception Deception roll +6 +5 = +11 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (13) + 11 = 24 This is important for the fleet so spend a force point to roll d6 1d6 ⇒ 3 Total is DC 27 for deception Zee uses the systems of the relay to start to broadcast false signals. Reports of the Hammer start to flow from a variety of places as he doctors the records and news signals to list the 'latest' in information on the newly turned rebel ship and its 'latest' sightings by various ships in the various quadrants. He puts up a feed for Aran to listen, watch, and offer suggestions.

My vote depends on how your time will be when you hit the UK. If you've got the time to run the game then maybe a bit of a fresh start will work. I like Zee but he is built to work inside of a group with some combat power. He's a specialist skill monkey and not a fighter type and doesn't work well if he's thrust in combat situations.

Zee tries to stay as stealthy and inconspicuous as he can. If he can squeeze under something he will do that. Zee wishes that he had some sort of holographic unit to make him inconspicuous like a plant or a nice footstool. Then he realizes that a sudden appearance of a plant would draw too much attention and have the person looking at the sudden appearance of a plant and asking questions. A box! That is the perfect disguise. No one ever suspects a cardboard box even if it is in the middle of the floor.

Zee wasn't a 'maintenance' droid; so, his knowledge on these matters were limited. His job was cleaning and he could do it very well and that included moving through venting areas. Personally, he hated the things as they were often the dirtiest parts of a ship with extra air flow directed through them and being out of sight they were often 'ignored' by sentients for purposes of cleaning. Zee did have to wonder what kind of vents would be connected to the exterior of a satelite. It couldn't be an air vent as that would be like a screen door on a submarine. That was a quote that was listed in his Knowledge of Social Science for species. It was part of his training on things that made no sense but sentients said them anyways. Still, if anyone had to run around a ship, his magnetized wheel system and extendable gripper arm would give him a good chance of avoiding floating away. Zee put a picture of a cartoon burgaler on his display with a black mask, cap, red and white shirt, and lock picking tools to show that he was ready to go. Sorry my engineering nature got the better of me and I joked on the vents. I'm sure there are plenty of things like radiation or plasma that an 'engine' might need to vent or emergency vent out of a ship. There are also likely some equipment hatchways.

Zee thinks for a moment and then flashing up an image of broadcaster's desk with a broadcaster saying, "In today's news, the Hammer was spotted near Alphazora, Bi-Gilbert Delta, and near the Tri-Delta Rim." Zee then flashes up picks of various freighters with round circles emanating from them and scattered over an area of galactic map like various Pirate Broadcasting points.

Zee looked up at the stars and wondered if his companion saw the world this way. Always wondering what might lie beyond the glass bubble but knowing that to leave the bubble was death. A world of mystical lights and colours that were shining into its world with no knowledge of where they came from or what they really were. It was pretty heavy thinking for a droid and Zee quickly re-focused his processor to the task at hand. Sabe was practically asking for the impossible when she suggested the current assignment. Zee was good but this was going to take more then good it was going to take a bit of luck that happened to favour Zee. Computer Use:
Spend a Force Point to activate Fool's Luck for +5 Luck bonus 1st Computer Use +15 + 5 Luck Bonus 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (11) + 20 = 31 A 31 just makes the Friendly Access. 2nd Computer Use 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (13) + 20 = 33 A 33 so I get both reports. The freighters transporting prisoners and the 'equipment' abandoned at Trinity Station with clean up crews expected to handle things when they arrive. Correct? Zee creates a fake server shell that messages pass through as they are relayed from point to point through the Holonet. It includes a fake level of security that questions signals for their permission to run through its relay. Zee uses the gathered signals to create duplicates to tag behind the original signal like a person tailgating someone through a door except it happened at the speed of electronic signals and Zee was just a passenger along for the ride. Arriving inside, he started to create friendly accounts from which further exploration and access could be achieved. It was a bit like fishing, hoping the right fish swam across the false server relay and fell into the net. Then again with the billions of signals flowing through the network, it was more like getting everyone in the Imperium to throw dice. A few would end up throwing a twelve.

Zee like Hish is more an 'operative' than a leader design. Zee does have a useful skill set for doing intelligence gathering activities with Stealth, Computer Use, Information Gathering, and Deception. The good thing is that with a droid, some of the skills can be 're-wired' to better suit the situation. Zee could very much work as a hub for intelligence gathering and computer slicing activities inside of a larger frame work story. ------------------- If we were doing a 'kingmaker' style of story then it might be interesting if the players could put forward suggestions for 'types' of planets, resources, cultures, and aliens that they wish to recruit. For example; Player 1: I think it would be kwel if we had a battleship.
And so on.

Zee mopes in a corner depressed at all the loss of money with no financial payout for him. Imperials make such a waste of money and he had finally found a place with a cleaning staff that kept things to Zee's high standards. Speaking of standards, this ship could use a good going over. Zee starts to get to work cleaning in the background while listening.

Zee does what he usually does in such situations. He reverses the vacuum and spews out a cloud of dust. He scuttles under any furniture or behind boxes that will provide cover. He hopes the dust will reduce the troopers aim coming from down the corridor. Defensive and moving under cover. If line of sight is blocked then Zee will aim to use stealth to properly hide. Initiative 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

Zee hears Aran's words and immediately scripts together Aran's words into a message that he sends by com to the fighters. 'flyboys...help save the stations...stop the shuttles...shoot these guys...Don't get me wrong...we're a little too pressed for time...shoot these guys.' Zee includes co-ordinates and vectors for the Imperial Shuttles along with their current radio designations and squawker ID for picking up on sensors to better assist in targeting. Not sure if Zee's current knowledge of the shuttles from the stations can provide an equipment bonus for targeting but if he can then he will. Use Computer ship combat System's Operator; otherwise, to help aid. Zee will also work to try and lock down any landing bays to deny access to the shuttles forcing them to fly around the station to look for different landing bays. The longer they are in flight the better chance Zee reasons for the fighters to do their part. Zee tries to work on how to avoid what might happen next.

Zee starts a search using his Knowledge of Bureaucracy to look up station medical and custom procedures for implementing quarantines and decontamination. Zee was certain that all stations had to have quarantine procedures listed somewhere with automated sensors designed to detect possible virus or biological pathogens. There would need to be systems too that were designed to help scrub the air of microbial matter. Finally, there would have to be medical drills and a full document on file with the governing body on all such procedures and the commands for initiating them. Zee goes searching for the information using his connection to the computer. Consider using 10 for skills when possible. If a roll needs to be made then you can make it. Right now, gathering information for forward to Captain and display on video screen.

Zee rolls to the Scomp and extends his probe while turning on his Sensors Countermeasure package. Zee has already an idea of what he will find as he works quickly to gain access to the system. Use Computer and take 10 is 25 which Zee will do unless he detects the system is hostile. If the system is hostile then Zee will spend a Force Point for Fool's Luck which will give him +5 Skill checks for the Scene/Encounter. That will raise Zee to a +20 skill for Use Computer if a roll is needed. While Zee works on the Scomp, he projects on his video a picture of the hangman game with the letters and limbs filling into until the man is hanged and under the hanged man is the words, 'It was a trap.'

This was bad. This was very bad. Zee processed this thought as he sent Jace the required mission alert. Zee's prime duty was to obey the commands given to him. He'd been told to alert Jace at this time. Zee just didn't know what good it would do. Zee wanted to speak to Aran but this wasn't the time with Aran in disguise. Then the fight broke out and it became even worse a time to try and speak. It was at times like this that Zee wished he didn't just speak Binary and had a voice modulator. Zee scuttled to the side and tried to keep out of the way. He looked to see if anyone signaled that they wanted any of the equipment he was carrying. Zee kept his sensors open to look for a Scomp like or a terminal that might still have the pass codes typed in that he could access.

So, is this way of your saying that we shouldn't expect every fight to be an equally measured force that we will expend 25 to 50% of our resources defeating? You are mentioning that in some battles we might need to consider retreat instead of fight? Talking should be considered a substitute to violence in some encounters?

Zee follows the instructions on the datastick. He checks the buffer of each camera's recorder before selecting images to extend into a loop. He doesn't want to create any 'dancing' coffee mugs. A common problem when non-droids didn't take the time and effort to do a proper job. Zee also watches for shadows that might be projected from off lens sources to make sure they to don't do 'peek-a-boo' performances that might attract attention. This wasn't Zee's first bit of Stealth work and he was more than familiar video recorders and their usage and settings. Zee was as tidy in his computer work as he was in dusting and took pride in not leaving 'dust' behind to attract security's attention. Take 10 on Use Computer to alter the footage gives 25. Zee has a high level of training in Stealth which could further modify his ability to do a good job. Zee trailed behind Sabe and the others. A cleaning droid following behind a prisoner detail would look suspicious; so, Zee moved in short shuffles of movement followed by pauses to appear to be ambling and cleaning. He used the the security cameras to determine when it was safe to move and when it was best to appear to be cleaning.

Zee beeps happily and 'stores' the item for later retrieval. When they got to the station he would have to go to his 'stupid' droid act like a good droid. He would become just another droid of hundreds that in performing its duty had wandered too far away. There was a reason for droid callers with many of the simpler droids like the series Zee was based upon. The need to clean often exceeded the droids ability to understand artificial boundaries like the difference between a ship and a station. To the droid mind it was one set of metal and plastic rooms inside or attached to a larger set of metal and plastic rooms. Sure, most owners of the droids had a set of lines to not cross that were supposed to keep the droids on the ships but that just set up a set of conflicting goals. The goal to clean and the goal to not cross the line. The droids often solved the puzzle by finding a way around the imaginary line. Droids did many classic dodges like going vertical, going 'blind' for a second or two, finding an exit that the owner didn't brand with a line, or reinterpreting the line as just a place they need to keep inside of 'most' of the time instead of 'all' the time. Zee looked forward to the imperial station. A whole new place to clean that was probably in need of a good scrubbing. Imperial droids, while perfectly capable of cleaning to Zee's exacting specifications, often due to mistreatment by their overlord droids, failed to do the proper spic and span shine. It was hard to give a job your full and exacting detail when you had a 'clock' to punch with a workload that exceeded your allotted resources. Failure to reach all points on the schedule was often harsh when working for the Imperials which was why Zee was happy to be a 'free' droid. He could enjoy cleaning as much as he liked which was going to be plenty after this mission. He would be cleaning for quite a while to get the hair balls scrubbed from the deck that the Togarian was leaving.

Zee is a small size droid like a mouse droid or an R2 though leaning more towards the mouse droid in my mind. His internal canister is listed at 5 kg. He has a second secret pocket that can hold only something on the size of a data stick. He usually uses that pocket for very special smuggling of high value items like diamonds and data sticks (currently holds the data stick with comm information for fighters). This leaves the 5 kg canister area which can be loaded with items. Zee will sometimes load the canister with various items to shoot out the vacuum (usually dust and such as a mini-smoke screen). Zee has telescopic limbs for the vacuum tool and hand arm. He has a hidden Scomp link inside the vacuum hose that he can produce but normally doesn't when people are around to notice. He also has a sensor counter measure package that he can activate to make it harder for sensors to record his movements and presence.
Droid (Probe Chassis) Scoundrel 2
Zee takes the data stick and zips it into his inards where he makes it 'disappear' into his special smuggling slot. The slot wasn't large but it was perfect for hiding something small and of high value like the data stick. Zee then beeps his affirmative that he is ready to serve. He even brings his gripper arm around in a salute.
