On the walk "Interesting," Yuumka nods. "While we walk, I can meld our psyches together in the flow, unless anyone objects?" Adding everyone to my Collective. The only mechanical benefit at L1 is that at times I'll grant you a +1 morale bonus to hit/damage. Noncitizen district Once in the district, Yuumka starts asking around if anyone who's seen a a dromite, an ophiduan and a duergar together recently. Gather Info: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18

Yuumka looked over the edge, and dropped in the rock, in part to get a better sense of if the party as a whole have a way down there. I'm guessing as you say, it's not possible for anyone but maybe Yuumka, and I don't want to go off on a solo dungeon crawl...but is anyone (including Sebekloki!) sees something I've missed, or thinks I misinterpreted the scene, lemme know! Otherwise, sure, we can save some injured folks and go back about our day. If you tell Yuumka you're on a job and offer her a cut, she'll prolly join you.

Xonti Ensk wrote: With a slight shake of his head to help focus himself to the more important issues at hand, Xonti raises his head back up towards the others gathered by the Well, "Do any of you three- Lady Brione, Tai, and the Stranger of the Sommaran Tribes who also observes the very patterns within the Flow- did any of you see any traces of bodies deep within the Well?" The tall, lean grendle woman smiles a tusky smile. It's apparent that her heritage is somewhat orcish as well as troll. On closer inspection, she seems to have patches of moss growing on her in places. "The name's Yuumka Flint-Eye. You follow the patterns of the Flow as well, then? "Well met." She keeps her ear poised over the hole, feeling like the pebble has been falling for an awfully long time.

Seb, 1) did Yuumka she hear her pebble hit solid ground? 2) can Yuumka tell with confidence if she could climb the walls of the well?

"Interesting!" The tall, lanky grendle cocks an eyebrow as the light continues down and down. "I wonder..." She picks up a pebble and tosses it down the hole. Then she leans experimentally over the edge, both listening for it hitting the bottom and judging if she could safely scale it. Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10 Climbing (to assess climbability, given her climb speed): 10 + 16 = 26 *At a 26, her climb is equivalent to a giant spider. Whatever it could climb, she should be able to as well...but it does look smooth and deep, so...

Having recently arrived in town, Yuumka was considering what comes next. She bought a skewer of roast lizard from a street vendor and was approaching her last bite when the ground was torn asunder. Her long grey tongue sucked the rest of the skewer clean and she tossed it to the street. Yuumka walks to the crack, smiles, and says. "As Darzozh the Dreamer taught, 'The Flow opens Gates for those with Eyes to see.'" She stands near eight feet in height, and is dressed in the manner of the Sommaran tribes of the Eternal Desert to the north (where Grendle such as her and Jettur dwell together). Her hair is pulled back in need braids. She has an Ophid glaive and a shield strapped on her back. Yuumka nods to those who're tying up a rope, but doesn't wait for them. Instead she starts a smooth methodical climb down the cliff face unaided. As she descends, she hums a wordless melody. Yuumka has a 30' climb speed (racial) and can take 10 at Climbing under any circumstance, which gives her a 26. (Anything a giant spider could climb, she can too.) Perform(Sing): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19 Recognizable to those who are familiar with The Flow as a means of centering oneself.

OK, I've finished Yuumka Flint-Eye, a Zealot (Void Prophet). She'll be able to hold her own in melee, is pretty tanky for L1, and is good at debuffing, demoralizing, and occasionally frightening foes. She's ready to be introduced whenever. NOTE, I'm going camping Fri-Mon. |
