If it helps my next plan had been to find the mysterious stranger actually got them into the mess as he wanted to test them. He now wants them to work for the king who is still pretending to be dead against his enemies.

The kicker is the king might actually still be dead and the mysterious stranger is properly lying . Haven't decided yet

Hey guys.

So we are two sessions into a new campaign. All 5 pcs were in a play which was a sham and the king was killed (Or so they think) and the group were framed for murder and put in prison.

A mysterious stranger with obvious will defying powers released them and told them where to find the person who framed them. They are being hunted by the countries guard and there are pictures of them up everywhere. Every thing seemed good to me.

Then after the last session the guy playing a reclusive ranger has asked me why his character wouldn't just disappear into the countryside rather than staying with the party (Which includes a well known minor noble). Any help?

Just want to echo what Lady-J said (not neccesarily about CE) Im a chaotic neutral Veiled illusionist with serious mind manipulation powers and while it can annoy a good character (claims hes neutral good - more lawful if you ask me) i think i manage to keep it entertaining.

A couple of times it possibly could have caused problems the GM has dealt with it amazingly.Gm Thought i was brainwashing too many people so created a villain with a ridiculous will save (actually too ridiculous, he rolled a 2 and still saved - he has since reduced it slightly.
Another time i was torturing a dwarf to get plans for Drill Manor (Im not evil honest ... i was going to cast false alibi so he forgot all about it, was a bit edgy i suppose) and the GM made the dwarf commit suicide. That caused me to go into terrible remorse.

Point im making is a good gm can normally deal with dodginess as long as the player isnt a prick

And to whet your appetite, the starting storyline begins that the party have all been recruited as extras on a show in front of the prince of Palato (The largest country on the continent.) Dressed as ninjas ready to go, totally oblivious to the fact the main actors have killed the prince, and scarpered leaving the party as scapegoats.

The main party then get arrested and imprisoned and are going to be executed but are secretly released by a strange figure who is clearly a high end sorcerer who will probably reappear much later in the game.

Hi guys

So im currently building a continent to GM. I thought it would be cool to create a wide continent with different npcs and their back stories. So i could reuse the continent with the same players and they can see different aspects of different npcs or if i use the same continent with different players i could see how they interact differently with my npcs.

Then i thought it might be cool to open it up wider and see if other gms wanted to help me improve the continent. Create or improve npcs with new back stories. Create new sub missions which i could play. You could gm my storylines and see where it leads you, make changes or develop my npcs in ways i never thought of.

Now my world is currently on a range of word files so i would initially probably share it through a cloud but could then put it on a website for easier collaboration. Any thoughts or has anyone already tried this?
