Yldaph suppresses his rage in anticipation...

I updated the character background in my profile...I'm probably going to alter/expand it some more in the near future, though.
Either way, the next two days will likely be rather busy for me, so posting may be slow (but will happen!)

When he hears the enemies of the forest approaching, Yldaph manifested Bite of the Wolf as a path ability, 0 pp and Expansion 1pp. Also, since Claws of the Beast has a 1hr/level duration and can be temporarily suppressed at will, Yldaph will always have it manifested throughout the day.

"I can outrun any ordinary human, even in my armor. No one shall escape."
Yldaph hides along with Silver bullet. Having failed as a druid earlier in life, he was eager to regain favor with the forest.

During the ride, Yldaph attempts to lighten the mood.
"Maybe this Jordan fellow will mistake me for a lycanthrope. That ought to scare him somewhat. Or at least confuse the heck out of him."

"Shall I come, then?"

"Perhaps only three of us should go to the forest, then.
I must say I have a desire to go, though I don't think I could explain why, nor will I take the place of someone else who desires to go. I would assume Milgen should go..."

Yldaph tried to absorb the discussion. He was intrigued by Milgen's mention of the Great Dryad, and made a mental note to question him about the matter later, in private.
"We ought to hurry. Talon, was it? How many people can you carry in the air without being slowed significantly?"
perception to search the defeated mercenaries: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (8) + 17 = 25

Yldaph follows and sits down, focusing his mind and listening intently.

"Someone high up in the flame hierarchy is aligned with the Emerald Claw? Sounds like a strange match. Any idea who it is?"

claw: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (4) + 10 = 14 damage: 3d6 + 6 ⇒ (2, 4, 6) + 6 = 18
claw: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24 damage: 3d6 + 6 ⇒ (3, 6, 1) + 6 = 16
Yldaph grunts as the last mooks go down.
"All right, can anyone explain what that attack was about? Who sent them?"

AoO Claw: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21, damage: 3d6 + 6 ⇒ (6, 6, 2) + 6 = 20
Claw at b: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (15) + 10 = 25, damage: 3d6 + 6 ⇒ (2, 2, 2) + 6 = 12
claw at a: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25, damage: 3d6 + 6 ⇒ (2, 1, 5) + 6 = 14

"Why are you even bothering!", he growls.

Yldaph takes a swipe at the vulnerable mercenary who approached him: The one that just attacked him who moved through Yldaph's threatened area, as the mercenary moves from 10 feet away to 5 feet away.
AoO claw: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 22, damage: 3d6 + 6 ⇒ (3, 3, 2) + 6 = 14

Yldaph dodges one of the mercenary's attacks, and gives a slight grunt when the other one deflects off of his armor. These mercenaries were not worthy foes. He casually swiped at them with his claws:
claw against H5: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (4) + 10 = 14, damage: 3d6 + 6 ⇒ (3, 2, 3) + 6 = 14
other claw against G6: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18, damage: 3d6 + 6 ⇒ (1, 6, 3) + 6 = 16

Posting my move now since I'm busy later tonight:
Place Yldaph on G9 to start.
Yldaph focused on enlarging his body, and expanded to twice his normal size! Manifesting Expansion, 1pp, standard action, and grows claws Manifesting Claw of the Beast at ML 7, since it is a path power for 7pp, swift action.[ooc].
Then he hurled himself forwards towards the mercenaries, standing just out of reach and ready to strike if they were foolish enough to move.
[ooc]Moving to occupy the squares h6, i6, h7, and i7, ready to take an AoO on the mercenary at h4.

Yldaph turns to the newly arrived elf.
"Oh, hello...pardon, I do not believe we have met?"

oh, okay, dicussion was opened before game play.

Silver bullet will just follow the group and remain silent.

"The group" appears to be split in two right now, which part of the group are you joining? :)

"I will aid you as well. I have a...personal grievance to settle with the Silver Flame."

As he entered the small town, Yldaph's ears perked up. What did that creature just say? Allies to destroy the Flame?
Yldaph approached Milgen silently.
