My first Pathfinder issue arrived!

The invoice indicated that it was "Ordered" 08/16/07
The Subscription Status page indicated that it shipped 08/27/07
It arrived, here in Calgary Ab, Ca 09/19/07

This is more in line with my expectations for delivery. I have had lots of problems with Dragon and 2 months for delivery of it was common.

Cheers,
Corey

Thanks for the response!

[Edit] Note I have not yet had a look at 359, so I cannot confirm or deny if the poster was in it. I had an absent minded riffle through the pages in hopes that goodies would fall out (none did), but no intensive combing.

I did not receive the poster either - please send both.

Thanks,
Corey

I just received what I thought would be the last Dragon issue to grace my mail box (sniff), that being issue #359.

I have not yet, however, received issue #358. Please send another.

This will hopefully be the last such posting I need to do, as I am expecting Pathfinder delivery to be more reliable to Canada, due to the different shipping method.

You're probably right that it's a no-show by this point. However just to be sure, please let me know when your next issue shows up and I will get your replacement sent out at that point.

Thanks,
cos

Well it sucks to be getting the July issue in August, rather than June, but I guess that's better than not getting it at all. 357 finally came.

Hopefully the last two won't be quite so late. For the record, how long do I have to wait before declaring 359 AWOL- since there won't be a "next" issue and I definitely don't want to miss out on that issue.

Also, it's my understanding that Pathfinder shipping is different, so it's more likely to be on time - is that correct?

I just received issue 353 but have not yet received issue 352.

Please send another issue 352.

Also - the plastic bag for issue 353 appears to have been cut open and re-sealed. Were there any inserts for that issue?

Thanks,

Corey

Not sure if you have sent another one or not, but I just got the missing issue #349 in the mail minutes ago. If it hasn't shipped yet, you can cancel it. Kinda sucks that it takes a month and a half to arrive though...

I have yet to receive Dragon #347. Please send a new one.

Thanks, Corey

Wow! A well thought out response from customer service, giving all pertinent details, and answering all my questions.

Thank you for taking the time, rather than noting the fact my subscription finally showed up, and closing the ticket. I find all the responses you gave reasonable, and accept that sometimes we are swamped with unexpected loads.

I also appreciate the extra issues - I wasn't expecting that, but was just giving customer feed back, so you could improve. It definitely improves my opinion, satisfaction, and re-fills the "patients" tank, so that if any other issues are late, I can wait, knowing that they will get here eventually, and that I get a couple extra to boot.

The main issue was with the uncertainty of when my first issue would come, and not wanting to buy too many or too few, leading up to the transition. Everything worked out though, so thanks again.

Feb. 20 2006 - received auto-generated emails for both emails sent.(???)

Grades:
Customer Service: F (no gaming for a week Mr.!)
Subscription Service: C (needs work)
Content: A- (always room for improvement, but well above average)

If I had to do it again, I think I would have just made a deal with a local shop (to guarantee delivery), rather than get the subscription.

I have contacted CS via email a couple of times, with no response, within the last week. (maybe I am impatient or they are "experiencing long wait times"...)

I am trying to determine if there is a problem with my subscription, or with the delivery of it. I was signed up as a gift in early December, but have not yet seen any issues. I don't know if they are being sent to the wrong address, not being sent, being shredded at the border, eaten by flying monkeys...

I had hoped to get a dialog started via email to eliminate the more unlikely possibilities. I await a response...
