Hearing the guard approach from a distance reminded Yash why he disfavored metal armor. Besides being heavy, it was loud. In the wilderness, quiet was invaluable. He looked at the guard with a disapproving eye, but kept his thoughts to mostly to himself, until he noticed the guards demeanor and potential missive he carried. He nodded to the guard and asked "what wrong?", unsure if he would even answer the half-orc.

Yash followed along, leading the horses as they went. Most of his time and attention was spent caring for them, but as Sabelina spoke, a strange word caught his attention. "What that?" he asked.

As the others investigated the camp site, Yash set to taking care of the horses. He drew one of his bone daggers and cut away a corner of his own blanket. Then he used the bone dagger to dig a shallow hole in the ground. With the aid of grandfather's spirit, he summoned water to fill the hole. He lead one of the horses over to drink and began to wipe it down as it did. He repeated this process several times, talking to the horses one at a time in a quiet voice, patting them down and finally inspecting their hooves. Handle Animal: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16 For a minute his thoughts drifted to Xing. Her magics would have been helpful to have, able to heal the horses all at once. He shrugged, and used his own healing magics to help the horses along in their recovery. Once finished, he pulled a small pieces of black bread out of his pack of rations and started breaking all small bits to feed to the horses, all the while nibbling on some hard sausage and keeping his ears open.

Yash followed along, leading the horses as best he could. He took up Senna's reins as she made to scout the camp ahead. As the others made towards the camp, Yash began to lead the horses back aways, looking for a solid tree to tie them too, just in case. Yash will stay back some to give the others room and not spoil the surprise party.

Yash tries hard to sit at the table and enjoy his meal. The taste running down his enlarged canines was a treasure only encountered rarely for the half-orc, but he is genuinely distracted by the scene between Sabelina, Donal, and Violetta. With a leg of mutton still in his hand, he is forced to look at Senna again and ask "dis normal?" Yash, not one to leave a good bone behind, shoves what's left of the mutton leg into his pack and stands, wiping his hands on his armor and clothes. It's then that he notices the change in his appearance. His faded leathers were less muted, more vibrant, as if they were recently made. His bone daggers were no longer pale while. Instead they looked as if they were made of fresh pearl. He shrugged, and followed Senna to the docks. Yash smirked as he looked around at all those gathered. "Dużo skautów. Yash followed behind the others as they were ushered outdoors. He caught bits and pieces of their conversations, but was still rather confused about all the talk about the city moving. He didn't understand how the people here could pack up the stone and wooden buildings and carry them to where ever they were going to go. It was the main reason that the orc tribes used bone and leather. It was easier to carry. Still, he trusted his companions, knew that they were smarter than him when it came to human cities like Threshold, so he waited. It seemed odd that everyone was just standing around. They must have been waiting for the chief to give the order to pack up. That's what his last chief had a done a few times. Yash stood near the others, waiting for the order to be given when the first bong sounded. He was used to his bones rattling from time to time, but that was usually the bones tied to his armor, not those in his body. It was an odd sensation, but one that he embraced. As the buildings, and the city itself began to reshape, his eyes widened and his jaw hung open slightly. Eventually he was snapped out of his daze. He turned to look at Senna. "Dis normal?"

Yash couldn't help but chuckle listening to his friends regale their recovery mission. He stood to the rear, carrying his recently claimed great axe while occasionally glancing around at the ongoings of the town. He only had two questions for Odelai. "When leave? Where go?" She shrugged and looked at the ladies before nodding to the man in response. "Work...for Yash."

Yash nodded at Mama's wisdom. Yash turned and looked at Xing. "Xing scout?" Without waiting for a response, he turned and headed south down the tunnel, axe still clutched in his hand. After a few feet, he stopped and tapped his chest and refreshied the light spell radiating from one of the little bones tied there.

Startled at the hand's appearance, Yash fell back half a step, bringing his axe up in reflex. As the hand grasped onto his armor, he thought better of swinging his axe at himself. Still pondering how to get the disembodied hand off, he soon realized that it did not appear to be trying to kill him, which was a first when it came to disembodied hands. The spirit of his grandfather muttered a simple sentence. "It will protect you." Yash nodded and slowly rose his hand to touch the clinging appendage. Seeing that it didn't stir, he shrugged, noticed the many other bones hanging off of his armor, and readied his axe. He proceeded north through the passage, coming to the turn and halting. He looked back at the others and waved them forward. "Come."

Realizing that the bridge was indeed trapped, Yash offered "toss cookie?" He shrugged and stepped back as Sabelina went about disarming the trap. Once across the bridge, he turned and proceed north through the tunnel. At seeing the piles of crates and barrels, he called back "more stuff."

Yash rolled over on to his back and stared up at the ceiling. The sounds of combat that last echoed in his ears were now replaced by the voices of women. His head craned up and looked around as his hand crept across the floor, searching for his axe. Seeing Senna, Xing, Mama and Sabelina all still with their heads attached brought a smile to his face. They were weary, but no worse for it. He sat up and peered around for his axe. Finding it next to him, he grabbed it and stood. As he caught each woman's eye, he nodded. "Thank you." The words were strained. Ones never spoken by the orks, and rarely spoken by Yash. Words he had learned only recently, and still felt foreign to him.
