I would say yes since it isn't intended to be worn alone, you need clothes still. Probably between you and the GM for what is considered to bulky or starts to get in the easy of an outfit. For the hawk it would just be the bestiary entry if there is one that doesn't advance. Maybe you could sweet talk you GM into a template. Or ask a druid to awake it later and have the hawk as a cohort (leadership feat) instead of a pet to keep it somewhat relevant. Otherwise dipping witch sounds cool as mentioned above.
1) see the handle animal skill descriptions. 2) If you are using piecemeal armor rules it could count as the torso piece for you to mix armor sets. But you can't get a bonus from two separate torso pieces. Otherwise you only get the better of your two armor bonuses. GM call for what he thinks it can be worn on top of "for style". Magic item rules seem to directly prohibit more than one "armor" worn. |
