I was using the wand as an example, but Boro beads are actually one of the items in question that I'm really curious about (I just happened to forget what they were called).

Sticking to the RAW, how would one make these? Would a wizard with 'craft wondrous item' make it with a -5 penalty?

*BUMP*

Just trying to get this figured out for the purpose of obtaining these items.

If alchemists aren't considered to be spellcasters for the purposes of getting item creation feats, how are items created such as a 'wand of alchemical allocation' where you need to be able to be high enough level to make the wand, and the extract itself?

Looking at the spells known for this blue mage class, it gradually becomes less spells known compared to that of a sorcerer.

At 5 x class level + int modifier; a level 20 blue mage would only have 100 spell levels(plus int) to choose from, which is roughly 2 spells known per spell level. I think this in itself can be very limiting, but to then add on a +1 spell level outside of those two spell lists can be even more detrimental to the class.

Any idea what sorts of 'colour based' abilities would be appropriate?

I came across this blue mage class made for 3.5 and I want to use it in a pathfinder game coming up rather soon.

My DM has allowed me to use it for pathfinder, but he and I were wondering what sorts of changes one would make in order to keep it on par of the other classes adapted to pathfinder.

(ie; bonus feats, different class abilities?)

any input would be greatly appreciated!

I too would recommend the rogue/wizard/arcane trickster as you'd get the sneak attack, the casting of a wizard, and a few ranged rogue tricks

Bumping as I'm really interested in this class >.>

Shouldn't the maximum amount of cantrips known progress as you level, as a sorcerers would?

Additionally, what of other class features, as I find the one's that are listed are sort of...lacking in comparison to most other pathfinder classes.

So I came across this homebrewed character class from 3.5, and I was wondering about playing it in a pathfinder game.

http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=160606

what changes would one make in order to bring it up to pace with the other 3.5 to pathfinder conversions?

Possible ideas such as the wizard's arcane bond, or bonus feats?

If anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated
