118. An asteroid imprisoning so many ancient and terrible things that half a dozen Draikania are in minimum security. And the warden is dying.

Oh my... Is the warden a demi-god???

92. A gas giant incased in a miniature Dyson sphere, creating an exceedingly large living space around the planet with gravity equal to Earth.

93. A drifting piece of salvage, a interstellar ship whose drive mechanism was based around taking brief jumps into another plane of existance to move great distances in real space. But something came back.

Did you drink too much cough medicine earlier?

The art is great. The character's background story, OTOH, is not very creative or interesting, IMHO.

Yeah, not my favorite backstory to date. It reminded me too much of Merida from the movie, Brave, right down to her father getting attacked by a bear...

Huh... Totally didn't catch that...

2 people marked this as a favorite.

Wonderful story, but I hate to see the people of Golarion consider the ACG classes as "something new".

Also, did Lykir's art originate as a Eidolon? That mark on his forehead seems out of place...

81. An asteroid belt actually made of an ancient fleet of vessels, beaten against each other for centuries, millennia even.

Do expatriated Yeenoghu worshipping Gnolls live on your Yenog?

75. A planet that wobbles, possibly due to an extremely large (in relation) moon, causing odd jumps in the day/night cycle.

74. According to the stories of our ancestors, this gray world has no name-- merely a catalog number. A magnificent mansion is the only structure visible, and its owner seems pleased to consider himself the only person in the omniverse to own his own planet.

Reminds me of Felix of Golden owning the planet Sanction in the book ARMOR...

Not sure if its been said yet, but could the guy in the Archetype picture be from the Tiger Lord clan of Numeria?
The rulebook line is supposed to be setting-neutral, so I doubt it.
Fair enough. Although... All the Iconics are from Golarian, yes?
the iconic characters are from there yes, but i think they are trying to keep the archetype pics setting neutral

Works for me. Can I petition that if we ever get an NPC from the Tiger Lords that it be a Hunter?

66. Turtles, all the way down.

This water world has thousands of oval islands, a few as large as small continents, many bearing cultures that have been around for millennia.

They're all ginormous aspidochelone and anyone capable of travelling to the depths of these seas will find that the submerged crust of this 'planet' is composed entirely of cast off aspidochelone shells, some larger even than the current crop of 'continents,' and bearing the ruins of even greater civilizations that sank with them (and aquatic humanoids still living in some of these ruins, worshipping squamous and unmentionable things).

I think I love this...

A race of angelic machines rules over the synthetic populace at the behest of a god-like A.I. All of the natural flora and fauna have been incorporated with cybernetic portions, curtesy of the nanomachines.

Sort of like Mirrodin from MtG?

This better be in the Iron Gods AP...

64&65. A pair of planets who rotate around each other on the same orbit around a sun. Sort of like a thrown bolas. Could cause interesting day/night cycles if they rotate the right way.

ACK! Tyranids!

53. Erm... Halo?

The Halo things are effectively Ringworlds, fyi.

Ah, I'd known that, but hadn't noticed anyone mention a RingWorld yet.

And although effectively the same, a RingWorld is more planet sized and a Halo-construct is more moon sized.

IIRC, the Blood isn't exactly real... But what if cleansing the whole island of its thousand-plus year old undead curse is enough to get the attention of the Fates?

When my group chose a faction to join..

First we looked at what they would give us. Mantis was to give us poisons, which no one could use. Pirates gave us gold. Pathfinder, some compass thingy.. I forget the government faction.. but It was like.. the government who says someone was guilty of a crime we proved to be wrong, and the magic people was going to give us like.. one scroll.

So we were like Pirates give us really good stuff.. But they might be evil.. though what this? Pizock is with them! That proves they are good people!

(and of course my character was actually a pirate himself, the jack sparrow type who isn't afraid of blowing peoples heads off with his flint lock collection)

Actually, Pezzock was a 'member' of the Mantis Assassins, a cabin boy of sorts. That's the reason he's found with a sabertooth sabre. Also, I found the picture in the rqce building section of the Advanced Race Guide to be a good sub in for Pezzock post-SfSS.
