1/2 & 1/2 Wolf Wolf 1 AC 14/12/12| HP 13| F +5, R +5, W +1
As the blonde woman leaves, the wolves continue to stand a silent vigil over Patricie. All their heads snap up as one, then they begin to snarl and suddenly and viciously fall upon Milley, tearing the poor animal to pieces. We can roll that out, if needed.
1/2 & 1/2 Wolf Wolf 1 AC 14/12/12| HP 13| F +5, R +5, W +1
The other five wolves return empty-handed, the bear having proven quite elusive and faster than it appeared. All ten of the remaining creatures form a ring around the priestess and the druidess, bearing silent witness, all sitting on their haunches and staring.
1/2 & 1/2 Wolf Wolf 1 AC 14/12/12| HP 13| F +5, R +5, W +1
This can happen as either AOO's, or before Patricie's next turn...I guess it doesn't really matter. As the druid starts to engage in spellcrafting after making her rather rude gesture, the two wolves at her head and feet lunge, both managing to penetrate the woman's defenses and score hits. The multitude of wounds overwhelms Patricie, and she falls into the oblivion of unconsciousness. Wolf 7, flank, vs prone: 1d20 + 2 + 2 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 2 + 2 + 4 = 21
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
1/2 & 1/2 Wolf Wolf 1 AC 14/12/12| HP 13| F +5, R +5, W +1
Sensing the woman's imminent demise, the wolves close in on Patricie, jaws snapping at her from seemingly every direction. Two of the wolves manage glancing bites on her exposed arms, but the woman manages to fend off the worst. Wolf 7, flank, vs prone: 1d20 + 2 + 2 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 2 + 2 + 4 = 21
Wolf 7 damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
That should bring Patricie down to 5, since she took 12 in round 1, 7 in round 2, 8 in round 3, now 6 in round 4 Meanwhile, the other five wolves simultaneously take off after the bear, hearing the silent commands of their current pack leader.
1/2 & 1/2 Wolf Wolf 1 AC 14/12/12| HP 13| F +5, R +5, W +1
Fort Save Wolf 9: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17 The wolf that Patricie casts her spell on is able to shake off the effects, the roiling earth having little effect on the canine. In perfect coordination, five of the wolves trail after Trilby to ensure the bear stays gone, interposing themselves between the savage beast and the ongoing melee. They forego the attacks of opportunity Trilby would have encouraged from most of them, since the Withdrawal action only negates the first five feet of movement. Meanwhile, the one of them peels off to help the other four engaged with Patry, the prone druidess a tempting target to their snapping jaws. The wolves at her head and feet manage to give her painful bites, but her kicking and flailing keeps the others at bay. Wolf 7, flank, vs prone: 1d20 + 2 + 2 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 2 + 2 + 4 = 28
Wolf 7 damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
1/2 & 1/2 Wolf Wolf 1 AC 14/12/12| HP 13| F +5, R +5, W +1
Trilby leans forward, her great teeth bearing down and snapping the neck of the wolf that inflicted the worst wounds upon it. A powerful swipe of the bear's claw brings down the other wolf the animal companion had already wounded. The two wolves flanking Payet leave his side suddenly and inexplicably, filling the void left by the two casualties. The bear seems unaware of the new additions, able to fend off all the original wolves it faced but getting bitten by the new ones, one almost managing to catch the beast off balance and drag it to the ground. Wolf 2 vs Trilby, flank: 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 + 2 = 7
Wolf 11 damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Meanwhile, Patricie is able to crack one of the wolves facing her across the jaw, but the feral creature remains upright, snarling, before all four lunge at her. The number of attacks begins to overwhelm the woman, all but one of the wolves managing to score a hit on the beleaguered woman, one of them twisting her ankle in its jaws and dragging her to the ground. Wolf 7 vs Patry, flank: 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 + 2 = 23
Wolf 7 damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
1/2 & 1/2 Wolf Wolf 1 AC 14/12/12| HP 13| F +5, R +5, W +1
Boo for good rolls! As one, the wolves starts snarling and snapping as the bear attacks, all twelve of them surging forward. Six of the wolves surround the ferocious bear, returning fire. Three of the wolves sink their jaws in, but are unable to bring the larger beast down. Wolf 1 vs Trilby, flank: 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 + 2 = 19
Wolf 1 Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
Meanwhile, four wolves move to surround the newly risen druidess, hoping to drag her back down. Only one wolf manages to sink its teeth into the woman, but it tears deeply into her. Going to assume whatever was giving her the +4 to AC is no longer in effect Wolf 7 vs Patricie, flank: 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 + 2 = 5
Wolf 9 Crit Damage: 2d6 + 2 ⇒ (6, 4) + 2 = 12 12 damage to Patry The other two wolves get on opposite sides of the still-lounging Payet, attempting to snap at him. One of the beasts manages to snatch a portion that is unarmored, leaving a deep gash on the bard. Wolf 11 vs Prone Payet: 1d20 + 2 + 2 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 2 + 2 + 4 = 10
Wolf 12 Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7 7 damage on Payet
1/2 & 1/2 Wolf Wolf 1 AC 14/12/12| HP 13| F +5, R +5, W +1
In the darkness beyond the little recess Patricie, Payet, and Trilby have chosen for their camp, a pair of glowing red eyes flash. Moments later, a large wolf walks into view, its hackles raised, lips curled back over snarling teeth as it stalked forward. Then a second canine form walked into view. Wolf after wolf stalked into the clearing, forming a semi-circle in front of the opening, all twelve quiet, stifling their usual hunting howls. Their manner can't be mistaken for anything less than threatening and imminently violent as they get ready to lunge forward toward the two aasimars and the bear. Init Wolf: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
