![]() William starts the tale of their journey from Longshadow to the Valley of Aloi,"It appeared that the tower in Longshadow was attached to the Valley of Aloi and the Mayor of Longshadow asked us to check it out on our journey here. On our way we came upon something that seemed to be using groundhogs as bait and later a giant ant colony. We passed around both of those. As we were leaving camp we were set upon by earth elementals. Further into the day we ran into a huge giant with large tusks and a third arm. We had fought one before and since we had the drop on it, we filled it with arrows. Then as we descended into the valley we were set upon by two rocs and Aerel was grabbed. Benedict used the dragon figurine and we managed to hurt it enough that it fell out of the sky and was killed. It's mate left. In the southwest corner of the valley was a hastily built camp of wooden buildings and tents. In the center of the camp was a pile of black rocks. I believe that was the remains of the other end of the path to Longshadow. We found ogres left in the camp and dispatched them. That was a long day of fighting." ![]()

I'm sure you can work some divination spells to verify who it was from. We didn't take the ones from Naphexi that Ibzairiak had, they were covered in a thin layer of mold." I joined the others shortly after they arrived in the cave and as a witness to Grum's fight I will say it was epic. Fighting a hobgoblin on a dire wolf alone took some guts." William pauses here and looks for any reactions. We got an up close an personal look outside of Longshadow. The runes seem to enable the tower to connect to the Stone Road allowing the hobgoblins to move large amounts of troops quickly from somewhere. I can attempt to draw some of the runes." William then sketches some out and attempts to give as detailed of an explanation of what he has gleaned from them as he can. He then says "I have shown you this to offer what we know about them. ![]() I don't know how much I can recount. I don't even remember when I came in. I'll get a post up with something. Also I'll get a post of my purchases. I generally find that whenever I have GM'd something I get a lot of characters I don't really care for. You were pretty clear you weren't looking for power builds but you are getting them. I hope you find a group you like. ![]()

![]() I currently have no natural armor but I think the +2 should go to someone in melee first. I can take a hand me down if there is one, if not to biggie. Same with the ring of evasion. The Eyes might be best for Aerel. I have added the wand and scrolls to my list. I wonder if I should put any of them in my spellbook. I've got a bit of money to spend. Have to see what is available first. ![]()

Upon seeing the "bow" he returns it with a proper bow and then walks next to Karburtin and says "As a man of learning I am sure you would want to know more about that. Most humans don't bow in greeting. That is strictly among the upper classes and nobles and the one of lower status bows first.
