Class Abilities
Favoured Enemy: At 1st level, a ranger selects a creature type from the ranger favored enemies table. He gains a +2 bonus on Bluff, Knowledge, Perception, Sense Motive, and Survival checks against creatures of his selected type. Likewise, he gets a +2 bonus on weapon attack and damage rolls against them. Goblins
Track: A ranger adds half his level (minimum 1) to Survival skill checks made to follow or identify tracks.
Wild Empathy: A ranger can improve the initial attitude of an animal. This ability functions just like a Diplomacy check to improve the attitude of a person (see Using Skills). The ranger rolls 1d20 and adds his ranger level and his Charisma bonus to determine the wild empathy check result.

Racial
Low-Light Vision: Elves can see twice as far as humans in conditions of dim light.
Desert Runner: Some elves thrive in the deepest deserts, forever roaming across burned and parched lands. Elves with this racial trait receive a +4 racial bonus on Constitution checks and Fortitude saves to avoid fatigue, exhaustion, or ill effects from running, forced marches, starvation, thirst, or hot or cold environments. This racial trait replaces elven magic.
Fleet-Footed: While all elves are naturally lithe and agile, some also are naturally speedy and have a strong desire to rush into situations rather than worrying about looking ahead. Elves with this racial trait receive Run as a bonus feat and a +2 racial bonus on initiative checks. This racial trait replaces keen senses and weapon familiarity.
Elven Immunities: Elves are immune to magic sleep effects and gain a +2 racial saving throw bonus against enchantment spells and effects.

Background:
White Crow is a Wild Elf. Growing up with his grandfather in the wilderness, he rarely saw a living soul, let alone another elf. His grandfather taught him the ways of the wilderness, and of survival. Together they hunted and survived in the wildernesses of Varisia. They hunted for food and hides, but they also hunted the dangers of the wilds. Many monsters roamed the uncivilized areas, but goblins were one of the most frequent menaces. Tricky and cunning creatures, they raided food caches, stole supplies, and harassed settlers. White Crow and his grandfather would hunt them when they could, and help the defenseless when it was needed. Now his grandfather is old, ancient even, and White Crow must carry on alone. He visits the old man as often as he can, but he knows the old survivalist take care of himself as long as he is able. Creatures grow old, and they die; it is the way of things.

Recently on his travels, White Crow has noticed movement among the bands of goblins. They seem to be massing near a small town called Sandpoint. White Crow has decided to venture into town and see if he can determine what is drawing them to this area, if it is something about the town, or if it is unrelated.


Appearance:

Tall and lean, White Crow is a wild looking elf with hard lines and a fierce demeanor. He is always dressed in drab forest colours; greens, browns, and greys, allowing him to blend in to the forest. Most striking is his long straight stark white hair.
