I'm currently building a PFS Occultist - so even if the OP isn't interested any more, I'm paying attention and taking notes. Though I am currently leaning to doing a Tome Eater... maybe a Wayang...

I would wait just a little while longer before making a character that attacks with books...

Ok... this is "just a little while longer..." so, what have I been waiting for? What new character type attacks with books?

Can a Tome Eater Occultist (who can re-gain mental focus point for "eating" a spellbook) use this FAQ to scribe/craft a spellbook himself?

So if the Occultist has a spell craft of +6, then he can scribe spells into a blank spellbook? Is this correct?
