I suppose this is the place to ask this question.

I thought at one point I read an adventure in Dungeon that starts off with the PCs falling through the floor of a tavern? If I’m remembering correctly, could someone pint me to the issue #?

Please cancel my Pathfinder Player's Companion subscription. Other subscriptions should remain unchanged. Thanks!

Lately my impression has been messageboard postings are more antagonistic and vitriolic. It seems anytime someone wants to discuss "balance" or "rules", that drama quickly follows. Many of the longer threads require Ross Byers to stop in and remove some postings. Has anyone else noticed this trend, or is it just me?

Yes, I know this is an internet messageboard, and I shouldn't expect much, but for a long time I felt this board was different. You could have a discussion where posters completely disagreed, but the thread didn't descend into insults and snark.

Has Paizo published stats for a Witchwyrd? I thought I had seen them at some point, but after looking through my books I can't seem to find them. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

The standard Bestiary Harpy is a CR 4. I had a thought the other day that an interesting NPC would be a Harpy who had lost her ability to sing, and subsequently no longer had access to her Captivating Song. What would be an appropriate CR for this Harpy? Is the loss of Captivating Song enough to warrant a drop to CR 3?

I want to change my subscriptions by removing Pathfinder Modules and adding Pathfinder Companion. I was able to easily add Pathfinder Companion but I can't seem to remove Pathfinder Modules. Help or instructions would be appreciated.

Cosmo,

I recently became a GameMastery Module subscriber. I have U2: Hangman's Noose waiting to ship (my shipping choice is once a month). When does the PDF download become available? Once the module ships?

Thanks in advance!

First of all let me say that Nicolas Logue's Hook Mountain Massacre is one of the best adventure's I've read in a long while. The Graul family is one of the creepiest, most disturbing group of opponents that I've ever read in a D&D adventure. As a fan of movies like Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Hills Have Eyes, House of a 1000 Corpses, etc. the characterization of the ogres and ogrekin as inbred mutants was a nice twist on the usual "dumb brute" characterization common in D&D.

Reading James Jacobs Hills Have Hooks forward, it was mentioned the Hook Mountain Massacre was edited down to keep Mr. Logue out of a sanitarium. All well and good, but I was wondering if an unofficial, uncut version might ever be available?

I'm considering a Gamemastery module subscription, but when I add it to my cart, the price is $49.99! My first thought - that's an expensive module!

After checking it out, when I added the module subscription it also added a GameMastery Treasure Chest into my cart. I can't remove the Treasure Chest without removing the subscription. While the Treasure Chest is nice, a lot of the components are already owned by various members of my gaming group (Critical Hit Deck is really fun!) so I'm not interested.

How can I add just a Gamemastery Module subscription to my cart?

I've come to the conclusion I'm not part of the target audience for 4th Edition. There's quite a few reasons why:

1. I don't find any of the basic math in D&D to be difficult. I can do it in my head. I'll admit I do need a calculator when totalling up all the wealth from selling off a big dragon's hoard, but that's not a bad think :)

2. AOO aren't confusing. After the first few sessions of 3.0, they were straightforward.

3. I don't enjoy playing WoW, Everquest, or any other MMORPG. Nothing wrong with them, just not my cup of tea.

4. Some of the most memorable gaming sessions I've ever had involved little or no combat.

5. Almost all of my gaming has been in long term (25+ session) campaigns taking place in detailed worlds.

6. I enjoy high level play. It does take a little more planning to run a high level encounter, but it's very doable and often really rewarding to watch some 18th+ characters pull out all the stops.

7. Though rarely used, I never realized how much the mere presence of Profession: Tailor was killing the fun in my games. At least WOTC finally pointed this out to me.

So the more I think about it, the more it makes sense a *LOT* of what I hear about 4E makes me either indifferent or disappointed.
