My question is that: if someone hit me and i use flesh wound (rage power), i should save vs original damage before reduction or I should apply the damage reduction and then save?

I want to help explain this ability and give an example for an Invulnerable Rager which is a common archetype:

The damage roll is 30 and the defender has 5 DR

The target number for the save will be 30 (the rolled damage) minus 5 (the level of the DR) = 25 for the saving throw

The damage is then halved, converted to non lethal and then DR is applied:

30 damage halved = 15 minus 5DR = 10 Damage non lethal damage taken

If the target is an Invulnerable Rager:

30 damage halved = 15 minus 10DR (vs non lethal) = 5 non lethal damage taken

Your base fort resist should be about 25 when you can pick this up with superstition and a resists cloak, but if the damage on each strike beats 40, you will struggle to beat the resistance roll without significant DR.

With rage cycling on an invulnerable rager this will be an effective tool for damage mitigation. Without those conditions this feat is best ignored and instead you should focus on damage.

One other way of getting a reach attack with spell combat is through the cleric growth domain. For one level and points into wisdom you can get reach and attacks of opportunity for that important round.

Another way to avoid concentration checks is through invisibility, either through spells or as a swift action through ninja tricks. BTW Ninja's can also spend chi to gain extra attacks.

Whips don`t threaten AOO till you get down a long feat chain, requiring BAB 7 i think.

One other thing... it has been mentioned in other posts that using a wrong sized weapon will not grant reach.
