I agree with Gauis. We all get that real life can interfere with a game but communication is key.

What we have so far:

Gauis set a scene in his first post, it is night time, he told a story around a camp fire, He worked on his mech, he went to sleep.

Ami joined that scene, sitting around the campfire enjoying the night.

Warren also joined the same scene swinging on a hammock, he listened to Gauis' story then when Gauis went to sleep, Warren started a conversation with Ami.

Then the ranch owner came out saying it was time for a cattle drive?

is it night? why are we driving cattle at night? in rifts that would be super dangerous no? is it day? I don't know.

I have the impression that the GM isn't reading what is happening and has no interest in running this game.

I have other games to play with people who actually want to be there so I am going to politely excuse myself.

Warren spins out of his hammock. "Right we are. then." he promptly packs up his gear and stows it in the storage compartment of his Northern Gun model 357 hover cycle. He takes a minute to carefully examine his "mount" before nodding.

Warren moves closer to the group and pulls a Colt revolver from a holster on his hip. He opens the cylinder to examine the six loaded rounds. With a flourish and a spin he holsters that weapon and copies his movement with the gun holstered on his other hip. After a moment he says "I'm good.

Warren the Psi-Ghost rocked back and forth on a hand made hammock. A simple piece of fabric supported by two poles shoved into the ground. He had set up his little hammock by the fire and covered his face with his hat. Even though he might have looked like he was asleep he was actually enjoying Gauis' story.

After the robo jock stowed his rig and turned in, Warren waited for several minutes in silence. rocking slowly back and forth. Finally he shattered the night with a simple question "Somat' on yer mind Ami?"

Ok so Warren is a Psi slinger who can phase through objects (like Kitty Pride) He is happy to show off his gun slinging skills but keeps quiet about the phasing part until he is sure the people around him aren't going to sell him out. I am good with other player characters already knowing about the ghosting but Warren will have asked them to keep it on the downlow.

He has some hindrances that are noticeable if you spend any time with him. He is Heroic, Impulsive and Overconfident so I intend to play him as a risk taker which would be obvious to the other PCs. He has a code of ethics that is unique.

It is feasible that he met the other players while saving a family from a brigand attack or after throwing himself at some horrible supernatural menace. The usual stuff applies.
