He gets visions of Walter in three different times, or possibilities. First, Mellow's dreams hint that Walter was once a powerful Vudrani mage. From where exactly, he knows not. His adventures were many and lengthy, requiring long stretches of his sleeping consciousness to tell.
Other visions are of Walter now, sometimes at his side and sometimes elsewhere in very alien places alongside unfamiliar witches of unfamiliar ancestries. They look to not even reside on Golarion. Is he in all of these places at once, or are these realities that Mellow borrows fragments of her power from?
Finally there are dreams and visions of fate shared by he and Walter. They are ominous and undeniable in their experience, but once he wakes or departs reverie, the details are fully lost to his memory.
He offers her spells to him through these visions, little by little, if only he'll have patience.
