Female Elf Druid 2
Vraelyn keeps to the edges of the group, settling Lightning on the back of a chair as she leaves it to louder members of the party to soak up the adulation. Lightly she caresses the feathers of the storm roc, refraining from remark as she watches the others, specifically the other elves, her gaze steady and a little curious.

"We are directly under Sandpoint, to collapse this place would be foolish. Who knows what it would do to the land above. Cleansing it however would be wise" Vraelyn comments briskly before stashing her bow and turning away from the group, clearly not feeling the need to socialise, as always.

Having taken a little longer to calm and compose herself after the painful effect the flying creature unleashed upon her Vraelyn finally notches an arrow and unleashes it at the sinspawn. Sorry for the quiet, things with real life have been a little iffy. I think *finger crossed* things are improving now

Sorry for the lack of posting, taking care of my husband who's severely injured his back and is awaiting surgery is taking far more time than I thought it would.. if I don't post at all over the next couple of weeks (his surgery date is the 1st of June) then feel free to have Vraelyn shoot something or if there's nothing to shoot to stalk off like the loner she is (especially as she's still weirded out by this meeting other elves thing!) Not entirely sure she can hit the small thing whilst it's so close to the others Vraelyn instead focuses her aim in the direction of the new appearance that is the sinspawn.

As she leaves the halfling checks the door Vraelyn moves away and watches Blackleaf for a moment before approaching him and very gently placing her fingertips against his forehead. "Calm yourself" She tells him in a soothing yet calm tone born from decades of dealing with animals and impulsive children "There will be more combat for you to indulge in again soon, I am sure"

Quietly Vraelyn observes the newcomers, especially Syl'thanos, before turning quickly retrieving her arrow. Not one to stand and talk on most occasions she deems the current environs really not the place to socialise and once she has her arrow she stalks off towards the Southern exit and into the looming darkness, arrow notched in her bow once more.

As she arrives Vraelyn cannot help but pause. 'Another elf? What's happening here?' She silently questions, her expression one of slight bewilderment, she's gone her entire life rarely seeing other elves and certainly never getting a proper chance to meet them and here they were coming out of the dungeon's stonework. Ever the hunter she is quick to shake off her own thoughts however and focus in on her prey, letting an arrow fly at one of the creatures.

Vraelyn gives Talacyst the slightest of smiles as she stands beside the other elven archer, actually starting to take a leaf from his book and letting others take the lead for the time being. As the group finds the room with the three doors she watches Blackleaf closely, her expression sympathetic as she watches his mounting frustration.

Swiftly Vraelyn unleashes her prepared arrow at the evil spawn. Ranged Attack (1d20+2=22)

Vraelyn gives a frustrated sigh as she moves to recollect her arrows, carefully checking each one to see if they're reusable or not, her survival instincts as ever at the fore. She avoids eyecontact with the others, ashamed that she was unable to dispatch of the creatures by herself.
Female Elf Druid 2
Vraelyn gives a tiny yelp of pain at the wound she sustains from the attack but quickly silences herself with a slight frown as the others rush to help. Stepping back and away from the creatures she unleashes another arrow. Ranged Attack (1d20+2=12)

Vraelyn gives a simple smile and shake of her head at Talam's offer before silently finishing her preperations for departure, her time with the headmaster the night before still plaguing a little on her mind. Following the group quietly she nods in greeting to the guards before refocusing on the group. "Would you like me to scout ahead?" She offers.

Caught in her own thoughts over the academy and the headmaster Vraelyn never managed to make it to the Rusty Dragon the night before and was now wondering if she should feel guilty over it. Shrugging it off she silently enters the inn as the others finsish their breakfast and look set to leave. Her expression unreadable she gives a small nod of greeting to the others.

Vraelyn shakes her head a little at the headmaster's words "You have been more than kind enough to me over the years" She informs him certainly with a faint smile, again finding it strange seeing him so much older than when she first met him and briefly she feels a lurch in her eart at the idea of seeing him die as well. "Just take care of the children as you always do and I will hopefully return with interesting stories to tell" Have fun Zoom

You enter and run into Ilsoari Gandethus, the academy's headmaster, he is standing just inside talking to some of the teacher's, he sees you and smiles as you enter.... Vraelyn gives a slight smile and a respectful nod to the headmaster and patiently awaits Ilsoari to finish speaking with the teachers before approachinghim to ask if she's needed at the academy today.

Vraelyn gives a slight sigh as she looks over the others her expression one of deep thought. "I am used to working alone" She replies, giving a small smile as her storm roc companion nips at her ear "Mostly." "I'm strong enough to continue, but if my leaving would simply worry you and cause you all to leave without food then I will stay and eat with you. I am not here to hinder you."
