While the mercantile industries of Magnimar appeal to your keen eye for monetary gain, you know that the boldest route to true fortune lays in hunting down rare relics and selling them to the highest bidder. Becoming a Pathfinder seemed like an obvious decision, allowing you to travel throughout Varisia in your search for wealth, so you signed up right away. You brought with you a sharp eye and keen ability to distinguish fakes from the genuine article.
Benefit: You gain a +1 trait bonus on Appraise checks. Additionally, you gain a +4 bonus on Perception checks made to distinguish statue-like creatures (like caryatid columns and gargoyles) from actual sculptures.

Reactionary:You were bullied often as a child, but never quite developed an offensive response. Instead, you became adept at anticipating sudden attacks and reacting to danger quickly.

Benefit: You gain a +2 trait bonus on Initiative checks.

Background:

The daughter of a guard of the Bazaar of Sails, Galyna practically grew up in the shadow of the Irespan, fostering a fascination with the city's ancient history. Though attentive, her single father's job left the yung girl with a large amount of free time, and little supervision, leaving her to her own devices, namely, exploration.

Galyna possessed the dangerous combination of fearlessness and luck, and soon found herself combing through the dark corners of the ancient ruins both within and outside of the city, developing a knack for finding interesting objects and relics amongst the ancient wreckage, objects that often fetched a pretty price in the Bazaar.

The fascination with relics and ruins led her to the Pathfinder Society, allowing her to travel throughout Varisia in search of fascinating objects, so she signed up right away. Bringing with her a sharp eye and keen ability to distinguish fakes from the genuine article.

Her explorations would soon teach her something else, that the dark corners held threats the average denizen could not even imagine. Twisted nameless things from an era of darkness and evil, gone but refusing to be forgotten. Things that would endanger the innocent if someone did not ensure they stayed in their holes.

Finding herself once again stationed in the city, she began to patrol the outskirts, seeiking to keep the denizens of the dark, within the dak, away from the unwitting citizens living in the midst of unknown horrors.

Galyna

Tall and well built with sleek feminine muscle, Galyna is an attractive woman if at the same time possessing an aura of danger that is somewhat off putting. Her dark hair contrasts sharply with skin, pale from extended periods outside of sunlight, adorned with elegant tattoos of ancient sigils, sharp green eyes constantly taking in all aspects of her surroundings.

Most often wearing leathers in blacks and dark greys, she blend well with the shadows of her favorite environments.
