I'm rolling up a level 5 and it says I get 2 3rd Level Items. I decided I am going to get a +1 Light Armor.

So I choose Studded Leather Armor (Which because it's a magic item is inherently expert quality p190).

Would I be correct in assigning it the following stats?

+1 Studded Leather Armor:
+3 AC
+1 TAC
+1 Saves
5 Hardness
0 Skill Penalties

I may have missed it, but I can't seem to find anything in the rulebook about the starting silver amount for creating a character at higher levels. I need to create a 5th level character for a playtest, and I don't know how much silver to begin with.

So the Monk with Dex 14 is 10 + 2 + 0 + 2 (expert + level 1) = 18 AC.

Am I missing something or isn't this AC 14?

Here is the correct calculation for the AC

Level 1 Monk with Dex 14 =
10 + 2(Dex) + 0(Item) + 2(expert + Level) = 14 AC

Level 1 Wizard with Dex 14 =
10 + 2(Dex) + 0(Item) - 1 (untrained + Level) = 11 AC
