About Viorec, Scholar of Sloth
Born in a small town in southern Varisia, Viorec never felt quite in the right place and had problems fitting into his people's society.
He decided to leave his family and study magic at the Acadamae. The first moment he arrived in Korvosa, he liked the ever-present Chelish influence on everyday life, but it still didn't feel completely right.
During his studies of Conjuration magic, he found some very interesting books about the Thassilonian art of magic. Those books were never meant for his eyes, but he read them nonetheless. He quickly realized this was the society he had missed all his life and easily incorporated those teachings into his studies.
Along with the magical theories, he also developed a few quirks of sloth.
