Vintner seems genuinely torn. Well... I am not sure what to do here. This thing could prove a benevolent protector. On the other hand I am jot sure that the gifts it bestowed on mercy are necessary outside of Mercy itself.

Well... I think this is Amenira. Cloaker got her I would guess. She never did get to solve the mystery. We owe it to her to get to the bottom of this I think

We are as you can see, merely vines given voice and sentience and a purpose by our masters - though with a lot more freedom than your typical creations you usually see get. Vintner turns somewhat grimly over to Plumeria Actually I may have just learned something very interesting. The plants seem to be getting their feed and sustenance not from the sun and the rain but from some...Warmth down below, that extends all around.

And as I just did a scan of the area, it looks as though this all may be radiating from a point outside of town where more unnatural plant growth lies. It's reach extends even to here - I wonder what sort of effect its having on these people - aside from the obvious vegetarianism.

Using my 'Arcane Bonded Object' to cast a spell from my list that I don't have prepared, Lay of the Land

Vintner is a bit surprised that the supposed feud between Carpenters and Blacksmiths seems to be just ....a feud between carpenters and blacksmiths. Theyre strangely passionate....MAD PERHAPS!?!?!?!

Vintner decides to split off from the rest of the party and to do some observation. He tries to find a place close to the middle of town where this is a bit of vegetation he can blend in with and then turns himself into an unassuming little berry-vine near someones house before the square gets too busy. Simply wishing to observe their behavior when they think they aren't being observed.
