Male Human Bard 1
You know, perhaps it would be wise to send a couple people back to the scene of the crime? Perhaps now that it is daylight, you could find more clues? I can continue asking around. L? Care to join me? The young human offers his arm out to the secluded Elf, a smile across his face and genuine courtesy in his eyes.
Male Human Bard 1
entering the home, Villyn looks to the kind dwarf and asks, Dorrin, I know this is a small town, but by chance, have you heard yet about what has happened to the stable boy just last night?
Male Human Bard 1
Well my lads,Villyn begins, then gives the lowest bow to L, And Fairest Lady. Today begins the greatest quest of all times! He asserts his finger into the air high in an attempt to add flare to this speech. He then proceeds to pace the room, randomly pointing around, never at anything particular. We have gathered this day to solve the "Case of the Killing in Kor Hamlet!" Our first lead has been to speak with one Dorrin the Dwarf. He lives here in this small town, and may have information to lead us to "The Killer!" As he walks about spouting off the things that everyone knows, a simple perception check reveals that Villyn may actually be more trouble than he is worth. Fancy clothing and a full sack adorn his person, and you can just barely make out what looks like a small, hand-held mirror, pushing against his left hip pocket. His Rapier and Short Sword look exquisite and almost brand new. One almost has to wonder if he had ever truly been in a fight, let alone adventure after adventure. After finishing his speech he is standing beside L, he tries to look into her eyes if he can and says to her, Of course, it may be hard to concentrate on an empty stomach, perhaps I can offer to share in a meal?
Male Human Bard 1
This is all fine and well, but this case will not be solved in a day. Villyn gives a buge yawn and tips his hat to the rest. I believe I shal retire for the night gentalmen, and Lady. With that he slowly makes his way up the stairs to his room, pausing at the landing as if trying to remember which way to turn next.

Villyn stands in the back, eyeing the body still left sitting on the bar. He nusters some courage and brightens himself up a little. Well, an investigation is definatly needed, and noting the lack of and official law enforcement, I can see that it will be up to us to solve this most hideous caper. However, I do know that there will not be much we can do tonight. Let us get some sleep and we can tackle this head on at first light. He pauses of a moment, as if considering something, then continues.

The Bard looks down at the parcel that was just brought into the bar. His face begins to turn slightly pale as he knows a corpse has just been placed right where he had been drinking only a few minutes earlier. He gives a deep swallow and word his face with a cloth. Good friend, I'm afraid we haven't been properly introduced, he gives a slight chuckle that sounds almost as if it had been forced, I am Villyn, and while I'm not quite sure what dwarves concider as proper manners, but that body had already been placed out of the rain, and the family will be notified. If you would please remove the poor soul so that I may not loose my lunch I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
Male Human Bard 1
The boy's gear should probably go back to his family, Villyn states as he gives a cold stare to Veridian. He also gives a slight wink and pats his pocket as if trying to say something.
secret message:
Take the money and I'll split it with yeah! As he looks back and heads to the Inn, he calls out to Bran, Is there somewhere we can take the body? So that it isn't just laying in the barn for anyone to walk in on?
Male Human Bard 1
Seeing that there is no immediate danger, Villyn advances on the rest of the group. His lights head over towards the body to help the human and half-elf see better. Perhaps there is a way to ensure that at least one of the footprints remains behind so that we can use it to identify the culprit in the future?
Male Human Bard 1
Villyn sings a small tune and four lanterns appear at the door. As he stops it into the night, the lights spread out Audi give foot increments and head towards the stable, stopping 40 ft from his position. Villyn glares out into the night, cursing his human sight. perception: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (20) - 1 = 19

Villyn gives a mighty hallar and slap his knee. Oh come M'Lady, surely I have not embarrassed you! He looks to the half-elf sitting across from him with a joyful smile. You see Laddy, even the most most timid of creatures may be charmed, you just have to be carefull not to scare them off!
Male Human Bard 1
One usually does not get to choose one's name normally. As it is, parents thought I was the villain to thier happiness as I was quite a loud child. he gives a light laugh and faces into her eyes, making sure they lock for a moment before continuing, So tell me, What has such a beautiful girl like yourself doing out here? Surely the goods have not sent you here to bless me by your divine presence?
Male Human Bard 1
Well, L, tis a pleasure to meet such fine a creature as yourself. Villyn cannot help but to stare at the Elf, as her features are finally revealed to him. In an eliquent tone he continues. A fair sight to see, a beauty such as thee, with skin the color of snow, and crystal eyes, to make ones blood flow.
Male Human Bard 1
My sweet lady, it is not that I feel that no one is enjoying my song, but when one of the people who prepares your food and bed tells you to stop, its best to listen to them. He gives her a wink, and places a couple more gold on the table. Bartender, anouther drink for the lovely las eh... He ponders for a moment then wispers, My apologies fair lady, but I don't think I caught your name.
Male Human Bard 1
Villyn places the few silver on the table between himself and the half-half. After a low bow Villyn introduces himself. Greeting traveler, I am Villyn the Bard. Singer and dancer ectrodinaire, I am at your service. With this he takes a swig of his mead and sits across the table from him.
Male Human Bard 1
The bard stops mid-verse and gets an astonished look. How very rude, am I to take you don't like my song? Looking down into his still empty hat he shrugs, Something tells me the feeling is mutual throughout the establishment. He sits down and drinks his mead, all the while humming to himself the tune he was just singing.
Male Human Bard 1
Villyn considers the menu for a moment and pulls out two platinum pieces from a pouch by his side. Placeing them on the counter he says I'll take the small room for 5 days please, and a mug full of mead. The change is your good man. He looks about the room again as if pondering. Once he has his drink, he walks over to an open area of the bar, places his drink and hat down on a table and begins to sing a low-tune. It is a song of mystery and intrigue. Suitable for a dark and stormy night such as this.
Male Human Bard 1
As the tall human walks in he surveys the room perception: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (6) - 1 = 5
Down in a lonely Inn, you find a tall male sitting by himself. His dress is fancy, but something tells you he is only here to entertain others. As he sips his ale, he pulls out a box from inside his backpack, an ink pen, and a vial. He then pulls a sheet of parchment from the box and begins to write, all while humming what seems to be a familiar tune. |
