About Victor Anti-Paladin of Nocticul

HP 12
AC: 15 Touch: 11 Flat-Footed: 14
BAB 1
Fort 4=2+2 Con
Ref 1=0+1 Dex
Will 1=2-1 Wisdom

Attacks:
Greatsword Power Attack
Attack 4, Damage 2d6+7

Skills:
4=2+0(INT)+1(Human)+1(Favorite Class)
Total=Rank+Stat+In Class+Misc
Intimidate 7=1+3+3
Perception 4=1-1+3+1(seeker)
K-Religion 4=1+0+3
Sense Motive 3=1-1+3

Traits:

Seeker:
You gain a +1 trait bonus on Perception checks, and Perception is always a class skill for you.

Rancorous Wrath:
You were wronged (or, at least, in your eyes you were wronged) by a group or individual more powerful than yourself. Your efforts to avenge yourself ended in humiliating defeat... until you proclaimed that you’d give anything to have your vengeance, and the succubus Lux appeared in your life and offered you her profane gift. Driven by anger and hatred for your enemies you gladly accepted and finally (likely with a little extra behind-the-scenes help from Lux) brought your enemies down. Your victory has fuelled, rather than quieted, the anger and hatred that you often feel rising inside you. You gain a +1 trait bonus on attack rolls against the first enemy that damages you each combat.

Goal – Disproportionate Revenge: For you an eye-for-an-eye is never enough, your enemies have to pay for their sleights against you! You achieve your goal by exacting a terrible vengeance against a CR appropriate enemy who has survived an encounter with you (whether by their own merits, or because you’ve spared them to witness your revenge). Such vengeance should be spread amongst the foe’s friends and loved ones and / or used to tear down any achievements they’ve built up and are duly proud of (such as burning to the ground a shrine they spent their life building).

Feats:

Power Attack:

You can choose to take a –1 penalty on all melee attack rolls and combat maneuver checks to gain a +2 bonus on all melee damage rolls. This bonus to damage is increased by half (+50%) if you are making an attack with a two-handed weapon, a one handed weapon using two hands, or a primary natural weapon that adds 1-1/2 times your Strength modifier on damage rolls. This bonus to damage is halved (–50%) if you are making an attack with an off-hand weapon or secondary natural weapon.

When your base attack bonus reaches +4, and every 4 points thereafter, the penalty increases by –1 and the bonus to damage increases by +2.

You must choose to use this feat before making an attack roll, and its effects last until your next turn. The bonus damage does not apply to touch attacks or effects that do not deal hit point damage.

Furious Focus:

When you are wielding a two-handed weapon or a one-handed weapon with two hands, and using the Power Attack feat, you do not suffer Power Attack’s penalty on melee attack rolls on the first attack you make each turn. You still suffer the penalty on any additional attacks, including attacks of opportunity.

Class Features

Aura of Evil:
(Ex)

The power of an antipaladin’s aura of evil (see the detect evil spell) is equal to his antipaladin level. A paladin who uses smite evil on an antipaladin deals 2 points of damage per paladin level on his first successful attack.

Detect Good:
(Sp)

At will, an antipaladin can use detect good, as the spell. An antipaladin can, as a move action, concentrate on a single Item or individual within 60 feet and determine if it is good, learning the strength of its aura as if having studied it for 3 rounds. While focusing on one individual or object, the antipaladin does not detect good in any other object or individual within range.

Smite Good:

(SU)

Once per day, an antipaladin can call out to the dark powers to crush the forces of good. As a swift action, the antipaladin chooses one target within sight to smite. If this target is good, the antipaladin adds his Charisma bonus (if any) on his attack rolls and adds his antipaladin level on all damage rolls made against the target of his smite. If the target of smite good is an outsider with the good subtype, a good-aligned dragon, or a good creature with levels of cleric or paladin, the bonus to damage on the first successful attack increases to 2 points of damage per level the antipaladin possesses. Regardless of the target, smite good attacks automatically bypass any DR the creature might possess.

In addition, while smite good is in effect, the antipaladin gains a deflection bonus equal to his Charisma modifier (if any) to his AC against attacks made by the target of the smite. If the antipaladin targets a creature that is not good, the smite is wasted with no effect.

The smite good effect remains until the target of the smite is dead or the next time the antipaladin rests and regains his uses of this ability. At 4th level, and at every three levels thereafter, the antipaladin may smite good one additional time per day, as indicated on Table: Antipaladin, to a maximum of seven times per day at 19th level.

Background:

Victor was a twin once. He has fond memories of his brother, Thomas. Playing in the woods together outside of his families farm. They had forts set up around the edge of the clearing to help protect his family from the evil forces that plagued the forest. Victor was the knight is shining armor that kept the beast at bay while his brother looked up just the proper spell to teleport them to the top of the keep.

This was all make believe child’s play until the late Autumn evening when it all became real. They were playing in different forts when real life beast started to come forth from the forest. Victor thought it was his eyes playing tricks, but as they became clear he could see them, Orcs rushing in to raid the village next to his families farm. He prayed to Sarenrae that she would have the Orcs pass his farm or send down Charlabu to defend them. Neither happened that day.

Victor stayed in his high fortress and watched from a far as the Orcs came on his home and family, he witnessed the flames begin to rise, he heard the cries quickly being snuffed out followed by the Orcs moving onto the village. He cried himself to sleep that night.

The horrors he saw the next day broke Victor, he was not developed enough to be a man but he was no longer a child. Walking to his house he found his brother ran through with a broken spear still impaled. Looking up he saw his father hung from the tree. His mother... he did not exactly understand why she was tied to a tree with her clothes cut off, but he knew something vile and evil had happened here.

As Victor left innocence behind he found a pendant with a broken string to it. It looked to be a head of a bull. He later learned that it was a Brass Minotaur Head, the holy symbol of Baphomet. This fueled his vengeance, he had found a mission in life. To slay the Orcs that followed Baphomet.

He didn’t quickly become a follower of Nocticula, but she was a seductive one. Not only was her ways pleasing to the flesh, but she was also the enemy of his enemy, Baphomet.

His drive pushed him to learn the ways of The Lady in Shadow and to master his blade. Because of this he felt a divine pleasure from The Lady in Shadow as he had become a Paladin for her.
