Welcome to the Adventure Paths!
The quick answer is: "No, as has been repeated early and often on multiple threads, the AP contains ALL LOOT NOT GENERATED BY RANDOM ENCOUNTERS."
The GM does not need to add any loot.
I actually appreciate what the APs do: The loot for all the critters you kill is amassed in "reasonable" places where you might expect to find loot, rather than killing a goblin on a raid and having the goblin turn out to have been carrying his life savings on him during this death-defying raid.
Unfortunately, that means that loot is sporadic; I'm a player in a Carrion Crown campaign and we're pretty darned frustrated that our net worth right now (at 5th level) is less than half what we're supposed to have earned. But I know from running several other APs that the loot will show up; it just takes patience.
You asked for no spoilers, so I won't give you any more than, "Look for loot in the places your enemies live and work, not for them to be carrying it on their persons."
That will help immensely.
EDIT: And patience, my dear Grasshopper, patience. I have yet to see an AP where you aren't swimming in gold by 8th level. You just have to survive 'til then. (Yeah, my CC fighter's got masterwork chainmail, a masterwork composite longbow, and a +1 heavy mace, and everything else is off the grocery store shelf. Really sucks when you're fighting a CR 5 monster to have an AC of all of 18 and no real magic, but that's what makes the APs fun to play -- you have to think through your lack of gold.)
Much obliged! Thanks for your response.
