For the purpose of just about everything short of proficiency, mithral armor counts as one grade lower, so I believe technically it would interfer with the class feature. Also, I believe you mean Gun Tank's Resolve, as Gun Tank's Resilience doesn't mention armor.

However, with a reasonable GM you should be able to have it still work, as I believe by the spirit of the rules, that shouldn't interfere with the class feature.

I know mithral is considered one grade lighter for the purposes of movement and "other limitations". In order for the gun tanks resilience to work however, the armor itself must be considered medium or heavy. So for that purpose, is the mithral breastplate considered light or medium? I am assuming it's still medium since you need the proficiency.

If you have rapid reload and reload your pistol as a move action, do you lose your buckler AC?
