These are magical bracers that makes a persons cloths stronger, not quite as strong as armor, but close. Barnabus, could you make use of these bracers? Or anyone else for that matter? I certainly can, but do not wish to be greedy.
Lets strip him of his magical bracers and move him into an adjoining room, then bring in Thuvalia.

Those bracers of his are magic, I am not sure what they do just yet, so we will need to get them off of him as soon as possible. Vesara casts read magic and starts to flip through the spell book. Having them brought in one by one and then taken to another room, may be a good idea. That will make it to where they do not know their companions fate.
Since I am a member, I do not have to pay as much for my room and board, and the small wage I do get from my duties pays for it with a small amount extra for supplies in my own studies.

The spell can also be used to create a greasy coating on an item. Material objects not in use are always affected by this spell, while an object wielded or employed by a creature requires its bearer to make a Reflex saving throw to avoid the effect. If the initial saving throw fails, the creature immediately drops the item. A saving throw must be made in each round that the creature attempts to pick up or use the greased item.
