Rise, Septimus!

For justice!

Lemi? DM? Anyone else?

10 is enough to rip him from the prone form of Wormfoot and send him into a crumple to bleed to death.

Vera's charge is a lesson in eloquent brutality, a blur of movement and the enemy is down and bleeding out. Worm foot still stirs but looks like he is in bad shape.

Oh, I intended to charge 'Spider 2'. I charged to J9, not J19. I didn't think I could charge through the forest, difficult terrain and all. If 'Spider 2' is toast, I would willingly head to 'Spider 3'.

Still moving to M13.

Don't forget that Nurk adds his strength bonus to the sling attack. It should be 5 damage.

Vera begins to cast a spell, tracing her bony finger down Crash's skull. Her incantations start low, and quiet, until they grow to a loud roar. And then she is screaming, on the back of her vicious creature. Her magic infuses it's muscles and bones, and it visibly toughens up. Crash's lips curl into a visage of pure menace, and his tail whips about violently. Vera continues screaming the magic words, filling her mount with every ounce of rage that she can muster.

Kicking it, she spurs it into a more tactically advantageous position.

Move to M13. She casts incite rage; a spell compendium spell. I assumed it was alright. If not, it's the last time she'll use it. Basically justs gives her mount the effects of 'raging' as per the barbarian, as long as she concentrates.

Sorry to hear it! Take as much time as you need!

Are we waiting for Brinkt's Initiative?

Initiative 17

"I don't want a slicer. I like the sound this stick makes on a skull." Vera reaches for one of the shields, and begins smacking it like a drum, using her club as the drumstick.

BANG BANG BANG

"Ooooh. Just like this. Reminds me of when I smashed in me mum's skull!"

She takes a shield from the pile. Question: Is the studded leather something that will revoke my druid powers, or could Vera wear it freely?

Crash growls angrily at the other creatures as they enter the chamber, until Vera backhand slaps the creature right in the muzzle. She hops in the saddle, prodding Crash into position with her spiked boots.

"We'll take care of it, no problem. They'll be mud if they try anything."

Vera lines up with the others.

Whoops! Didn't know you were waiting for me. I should have made it more clear that I was already in the room. DM kept saying 'he, he, he' and Vera is a 'she, she, she'.

Spoiler:

"Ripnugget gets what Ripnugget wants. Everyone knows that. Everyone also knows not to gets on my bad side; I would suggest you learn that. Unless, of course, you want me ta be cuttin' off your pickles and shovin' 'em down your own throat."

Vera takes Crash by the lead and heads toward Ripnugget's chamber, keeping her mount in between her and the commando.

We're here!

Ah, I would rather take the average roll for gold, seeing as what I actually rolled means that I can't even buy a saddle for my mount.

Here she is

It's quick and dirty
and there's a bunch more I need to take care of on her char sheet.

But details, details, details...

---
Sandpoint had long been a thorn in Vera's side. All this commotion; longshanks busily running back and forth, carrying goods this way and that way. Chopping down the trees. And patrolling! Not content to stick to their stupid little town, they had the nerve to patrol all around it, as if the wilderness was theirs too. With their dogs, too! Horrible creatures! Goblin dogs were better in every way.

And Vera intended to make them better. Known and feared by her fellow goblins as a powerful witch, she commanded not only the powers of nature, but also a great deal of respect from the goblin tribes. Her talents in breeding and training goblin dogs earned her the favour of Chief Ripnugget. Her talents have been even more in demand now that a new goblin has come into the picture; Nurk fancies himself a goblin knight, and has convinced Ripnugget to support her training and breeding program. Nurk has high aspirations, surely, and Vera is absolutely dedicated to his plan.

The thought of sending waves of vicious goblin dogs at the terrified longshanks sets her alight; the fire courses through her body with every ripped throat she conjures up in her imagination; a fire that she hopes will one day consume all of Sandpoint, leaving nothing but smoldering ashes.

---

I tried to keep it vague enough not to pigeonhole us, ad not to force Nurk's hand in any way. I just took what you gave, is all.

Ah, it's just that the stats for 'riding dogs' already has them trained for mounted combat and trip. If you want to assume that my animal companion goblin dog, is as trained as a riding dog would be, then that's cool with me. I can give up the dander for the trip, if you'd like.

His name is Crash.

SargonX, I hope you don't feel like I'm stepping on your toes at all, but I was thinking of going mounted for my druid, as well. Also on a dog; the druid's animal companion option of a 'riding dog' makes sense to me. Goblins inherently get bonuses for riding on things, and they're small and stumpy. It makes sense to get on top of one. Would it be cool for Vera's backstory to corroborate with yours in any sense? Or we could just both be mounted by coincidence? I could be one of the goblins given to you by Ripnugget, to aid you in the training and rearing of these mounts?

And DM, If you're looking for stats for a goblin dog, why not just use the 'riding dog' entry on the SRD?
