Very curious to learn more of what nations border the Archipelago and happy to see we’re already getting hints!
Also glad to see the “You can adapt this ancestry” to play as these monsters stuff, that’s really cool.
Playing a Cyclops that becomes a hero god feels especially poignant, but hmm… Basilisk Animist, rolls off the tongue pretty grand.

*Pokes head in, holds up sign reading* For a people who spent the majority of their existence evolving and living underground, this building makes more sense than a more conventionally human one.
But that is just me. Really excited to see the Guardian entry next!

It has been noted before that in some locations, history is more concrete than others when it comes to the Gap.
Excited to get my hands on this one!

Well... with Dragonkin from Starfinder in at Large, Dragonbloods being able to niche into medium, Kobolds being Small, I wonder if Dragonets will be Tiny to round out the size categories.

Been a *long* time since we got a look at Leng, curious to see what may have changed or been updated.

First mention of Iomedae in 2E, woo!
Thinking of how to integrate these ancestries in Pathfinder, some work as being just visitors but some being enclaves drawn from other lore could be interesting.

The Galaxy Guide is said to be fairly usable for Pathfinder 2E as a baseline for creating adventurers during 4725.

Kavlor wrote: keftiu wrote: Kavlor wrote: Third: I love dark fantasy, and so I literally have zero problems with the world having injustice in it, especially since there were plenty of them in real history. I like to immerse myself in the mentality and atmosphere of an ancient society, and not play as a modern person with modern morals. Golarion has arcade games and trains in certain parts of the world. You can meet aliens and androids from other planets. Queer rights seem normalized essentially everywhere. Slavery bas been outlawed across the Inner Sea, seen as abhorrent by most and a liability even to the tyrannical regimes. You can be a magical girl who drinks boba tea, a cowboy who loves airship travel, or a mermaid who gets around on land with a magical wheelchair.
Whatever you're projecting onto the setting, it's not the grimdark, backwards fantasy you make it out to be in any of the 2e texts I've read. Injustice still exists, there are problems for heroes to solve, but everything about the handling of Arcadia for over a decade now suggests the writers have no interest in the path you want - and I'm thankful for that. And I will say quite honestly that this is the part of the modern setting that I do not like. Instead of being an analogue of the past of the real world, Golarion turns into an amusement park with decorations in the form of the past. Therefore, personally, I completely cut out all such elements in my games. And I do not see anything bad in this, as well as in talking about my preferences. When the f@+# has Golarion ever been an analogue of the real past?
There are people that ride mammoths living in spitting distance of a crashed alien space ship, and a big f%*~ ass lizard that people’s elbowed a city out of the sky.
Hell there have been multiple confirmed alien invasions.
Snakes used to rule the world until the squid-fish hivemind said nuh-uh.
There was a thousand year war between two guys that bumblef&~!ed a third of a continent.
And a magic piece of rock candy can make you a god if it likes your vibe.

I really do wanna get a look at Okaiyo at some point.
Also, I thought the Varki had some Sami influence, not just Inuit. Am I off-base on that one? Also, we know the names of two of the four larger Okaiyon ethnicities: the Taotake and Nahoa's people, the Olehala.
Regardless glad to get a look at Iblydos in the entire, though it is definitely not the location I want to see the most.
*whispers into the minds of the Paizo devs and writers* Give me Droon. Droon next. Droooooooooooooon~
Oop! My order is pending!

I do find it kind of crazy that in July-August, though, Pathfinder is about to get eight new classes, around 10 new ancestries, some alternates for existing ancestries, and 2 heritages when you combine this release and Battlecry.

I DEMAND DROON!
Enough hints and minor comments! I WANT MY DINOSAUR BUILT IRUXI EMPIRE AND I WANT IT NOW!
Is there gonna be a gazetteer of the archipelago? I'm not even sure I know what the isles look like.
It might detail that the spore war is currently going on but I’m more curious to see if it mentions anything about the wardens of Wildwood AP
