About Vayle Windborn

When asked where he is from, Vayle will answer that he hails from Katheer, the capital of Qadira. In truth, he was born into a small Sylph enclave in the Zho Mountains. He spent most of his young life there, living in secret until his natural curiosity got the better of him. He first traveled to Katheer, just for a chance to see some of the other races of the world. He spent years watching and learning from the shadows, before attempting to sneak aboard a trading vessel bound for the Osirion capital of Sothis. He was discovered, and during his attempted escape, ran into a kindly Paladin of Apsu named Colwyn. Colwyn was able to talk down Vayle's pursuers, in exchange for paying for his passage and other fees. Colwyn took young Vayle under his wing, and took him to the Grand Lodge in Absolom to begin training to join the Pathfinder Society. Vayle never forgot the kindness shown to him, and strives to repay the kindness that was shown to him by serving the Society, and to try to help those in need, much like his mentor.
