Varshk had left the scene to loot the body of the changeling near his hut before the characters began interacting with the NPC. He would then have gone back to his hut to dress his wound and go to sleep. When he awoke in the morning, if the others invite him, he will go with them to rescue the girl.

Varshk walks past the humans as he makes his way back to the corpse to collect what can be found. He goes to loot the corpse of the rapier wielding undead out past his hut.
Grunting in pain as the rapier slides through the gaps in the chain shirt and into his flesh, Varshk gives a grinning grimace as he pulls himself off of the blade and takes a step back. Projecting the savagery of his patron, he lashes out at the changeling with his longspear. 5 ft step to put distance between Varshk and the changeling. Swift action change draconic aura from senses to power. longspear attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20 damage: 1d8 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10
Active Draconic Aura - Senses: +1 Listen, Spot and +1 Initiative Varshk finishes his day tending to the needs of the livestock. One lame cow put down and butchered while the cuts and bruises of an incredibly dumb lamb washed and salved. Shaking his head in wonder at how people miss that their penning of beasts lulls them into stupidity, he makes his way outside of town to the hut he has erected on a low hill. As he approaches, he looks for sign of approach or intrusion. He crouches to enter the low opening into the leather skinned skeleton of willow branches unconsciously stepping over the earthen berm surrounding the structure. Hanging the haunch of beef he received as payment for his work from a hook dangling from the crossed lashings at the smoke hole, the hulking orc dons his shirt of linked chains then takes up his longspear and short throwing spears. He exits the hut to begin his nightly prowl. As the last rays of the sun are extinguished by the comfortable darkness of night, he removes the shaders from his eyes. Blinking to gather up his night vision, he moves down the hill in a slow spiral in search of the tracks of wild beasts which are prone to hunting the humans livestock.

DM: I think you meant me. Varshk has no skills or abilities that will help with livestock or an illness (+0 WIS modifier).
I can start at any time. I need to finish up the character; feat, etc. I am still going back and forth on whether or not to take a dragonmark. I am not real up on the concept these marks and I am not sure if I am eligible for a regular, true?, dragonmark or if I need to get an aberrent dragonmark. Both seem to have their pros and cons. |
