I've not run the book yet but a preliminary read has me confused by the story's conclusion. I'm struggling to imagine it.

The AI (forgive me I don't have the book Infront of me right now for its name) says that it needs to spread it's consciousness out to the other gates in order to create a supernova where all the suns all pulled in on one another...

How does that open the plane to the degenerator?

How does that affect the players who are presumably on one of the planets orbiting these suns?

Perhaps I'm not understanding something but it seems abit odd to me. Any ideas?

Hey, total newbie question so don't mock me too hard. Experience points. I've never used them as a levelling system in the past for fear of them being alot of additional book keeping. My group wanted to use them for Starfinder though and I've got a question I'm struggling with...

If you have 200xp until you level up and you earn 500xp for killing something does the additional 300xp carry over toward the next level or does it vanish?

I know, probably been asked and answered a million times ;)
