Background

Upon attaining adulthood, Vanyc proceeded to open a small shop, selling scrolls and minor magical items of little real worth. He would often travel around the surrounding area looking for new items that could then be sold etc. Eventually this grew a little stale, and yet he continued on with it as by this time he was rather enjoying the minor successes that he had by this time accrued.

It was only when he noticed his first ever grey strand of hair and remembered about the dreaded Bleaching that he realised that he needed to leave the area and explore the world once more. With this, he sold everything he owned at the best price he could, and then in a mad rush, left his comfortable town. In his new travels he found a new lease of life, and began feeling better, although the grey streak wouldn't go away.

He heard news that a Swordlord of Restov was handing out charters of exploration for a place called The Stolen Lands, and he decided that he wanted to be part of an exploration party. The idea of going and exploring placed that had been untamed for over 100 years drew him like a moth to a flame. He gained his charter eventually, and now is on the way to one of the biggest adventures he will ever do.
