Gilfroy's stellar driving skills result in several of the other drivers yelling at him over the course of the day. At one point, when Gilfroy's managed to turn Umbral and the wagon perpendicular to the road so that the wagons behind are blocked, Vankor actually climbs down from driving Koya's, hops up beside Gilfroy, and without a word, snatches the reins from the cranky gnome. He soon has Umbral going in the right direction again, so passes the reins back to Gilfroy. He then hops down and returns to Koya's wagon.
