Hi guys,
Fighter with Aggressive Block & Flinging Shove & Powerful Shove

Can you explain me how these feat work toghters?

An enemy near a wall hit me, I use Shield Block reaction, now with "Aggressive Block & Flinging Shove & Powerful Shove" can I push him against the wall and do damage or I must choose flat-footed? (cause last sentence of aggressive block)

I know how Aggressive Block works but it is really nonsense, the flat footed duration effect will be altered by the different in initiative between me and attacker.
I think this is an exception to all the initiative system, IMHO the flat footed effect should remain until start of opponent turn.

What do you think?

Simply because that is not indicated in the section "Saving Throw" as for all other spells with basic save

https://2e.aonprd.com/Spells.aspx?ID=479

So i can think that the save is only for the persistent damage+clumsy 2 ^^

The problem is not the basic saving throws rule, that is pretty clear.
The problem is the text of tempest surge: if I must read raw the the save from the entry is not basic (Saving Throw Reflex) and it is not explained.
Over this, why don't the persistent damage double on critical fail? It say basic save...

IMHO this spell is bad worded

I can follow the logic and see the idea but as I read it the damage is always full and can't be halved. Then Persistence damage can be also doubled on critical fail

Thank you for the reply,
So in your opinion the damages are
on a crit fail: 2x xd12 + standard persistent damage and clumsy 2 1 rnd
on a fail: xd12 + standard persistent damage and clumsy 2 1 rnd
on a success: 1/2 xd12
on a crit success: 0 damage

Right?

Hi,
Can you explain me tempest surge (druid focus spell)?
I think Initial damage xd12 can be halved but it is not clear.
Can persistent damages and clumsy 2 be doubled by critical fail? How?

Thanks you

Hi Mark,
Can I add Power Attack bonus damage to ALL melee damage rolls? Strange Example: Bulette Rampage Feat, Constrict, Etc

Can a ranger level 16 in any of his favored terrains use stealth as "free" action while adjacent to an enemy?

Ty for your time :)

rnd1)stealth->full attack->stealth
rnd2)stealth->full attack->stealth
rnd3)stealth->full attack->stealth
etc
Can I do this every round?
Ty

You can make a 5' step on a full attack, which counts as movement, so it is entirely plausible that you can make a full attack and hide afterwards with your 5' step.

Most combatants know this, so they have at least a plausible explanation of being able to attack a square to hit you, however.

Note that only the 1st attack of the full attack qualifies for sneak attack damage (barring some exceptions) when performing this routine.

The problem is about use stealth After a full-attack, a not-spellcaster can't Never hit you if you improve stealth (You Need choose Square AND do 50% check to hit)

Same problem in our game,no raw found.
Gm choose let me enchant (or buy as masterwork) as double weapon.
A Faq will be appreciated :)

Thank you CraziFuzzy.
Well, so in a nutshell there is no way for a big bad guy to grab an enemy and then attack other people if my check to maintain grapple is a standard action.

Hi guys,
can you help me to understand grab ability?

Grab (Ex)
If a creature with this special attack hits with the indicated attack (usually a claw or bite attack), it deals normal damage and attempts to start a grapple as a free action without provoking an attack of opportunity. Unless otherwise noted, grab can only be used against targets of a size equal to or smaller than the creature with this ability. If the creature can use grab on creatures of other sizes, it is noted in the creature's Special Attacks line. The creature has the option to conduct the grapple normally, or simply use the part of its body it used in the grab to hold the opponent. If it chooses to do the latter, it takes a –20 penalty on its CMB check to make and maintain the grapple, but does not gain the grappled condition itself. A successful hold does not deal any extra damage unless the creature also has the constrict special attack. If the creature does not constrict, each successful grapple check it makes during successive rounds automatically deals the damage indicated for the attack that established the hold. Otherwise, it deals constriction damage as well (the amount is given in the creature’s descriptive text).

Questions:

1) I grab an enemy as normal. Later (next turn) can i choose to take -20 to CMB?

2) Check to maintain the grapple with -20 to cmd <--What kind of action? Standard, free, move?

3) Can I attack other enemy in range when I grab with -20 CMB? Can i make full attack?

4) I fail a check to mantain with -20 to CMB, Can i grab again in same turn?

Ty all :)

Hi Again,
Can I strike same target multiple time? News?

Hi Guys,
Lvl 7 Brawler Archetypes‎ Shield Champion: Can Shield Champion use Brawler's Flurry to throw shield and perform one or more combat maneuver? These attacks do damage or not?
Another question: 1 far enemy, I have 4 attacks. How many attacks can I do with my Throw Shield?

Well I search a lot and now I think that malus is -2 to all attacks because while you use a two-handed weapons you can still use unarmed strike as light off hand (with improved unarmed strike feat).

(Soz but i can't edit my last post)

GreyFox95 wrote:

It's a -4 for your main hand because you're not using a light weapon if you're using a temple Sword and since you're using both hands on it you take the -4 main hand penalty to your "offhand" attacks.

If you guys want to you can make a post with a question and mark it for FAQ and we can see if we can get an official statement on this but I don't see it as too big of a deal.

Faq question done.

Ty all guys :)

The Brawler gets -2 to attack when flurrying.

I like it but I don't find a rule

My group plays the brawler as -2 to all attacks when using flurry with one weapon. There are no real rules and there is no second weapon.

Heck, since there is no second weapon, there can be a claim that there is no minus to any of the attacks.

But like I said, my group applies the -2 to all.

Well this is a good point but i love read rules :)

Ok now I'm pretty sure about monk but someone can confirm about brawler?

Anyway I hate new monk... He can't use Style Strike with weapons :/

I'm not sure about "1. The Brawler can add 1.5x STR to damage when using the Temple Sword 2-handed."

A brawler applies her full Strength modifier to her damage rolls for all attacks made with brawler's flurry, whether the attacks are made with an off-hand weapon or a weapon wielded in both hands.

Hi guys,
Can you explain me what penality I get if I flurry with monk/brawler with a two-handed temple sword? (I'm proficient)
I'm unsure about malus, temple sword is not a "light off hand".
Monk and Brawler get same malus?
Same with other One-Handed Melee Weapons used two-handed (if you are a monk with "monk" special ability

TL;DR If I'm a brawler lvl 8, Str 12 and use a two-handed sword temple my attacks are 7/7/2/2 (-2 malus twf) or 5/5/0/0 (-4 malus twf cause no light off hand)?

Hi,
