Van avoids commanding the armor again to prevent it from getting in the way of the others, but he does cast a Grease spell under the remaining enemies, using his arcane reservoir to strengthen the spell.

Van nearly collapses when given a strong pat on the back from Skug. He looks up with venom, but quickly regains his cool after a moment. "Yo, valuable merchandise here. Let's try not to break anything I need for spellcasting." He says to the half-orc.

The gnome then turns his attention to the loan sharks, "Hey cats, maybe we can negotiate our way through this. Can we give you a deposit on the money he owes you for now to give him another week to get the rest? You seem like reasonable business people, I'm sure we can make some kind of deal."

If there is any consumable loot that nobody wants that's level 2 or higher, Van would like to take it to consume it for arcane reservoir points. If you guys want to keep everything for now, that's cool too.

Looking dissatisfied that none of the enemies were now on the floor, Van instead fires his Magic Missile wand at the closest guard still standing. If no guards remain, he instead moves behind Mavarion.

Doing some research, I might not be able to trip more than one target with Toppling Spell. If the GM agrees with that assessment, I'll just try to trip the one south of Skug, but still damage all three of them to make things easier to keep track of.

I'll redirect the magic missiles last round to the guy who's most hurt since there is no line of sight on the oread.

Van concentrates for a few moments, then casts Magic Missles, sending 1 bolt at each of the three guards. Enhanced with meta-magic, the strong force magic threatens to knock them on their backs.

Using the Toppling Spell Metamagic to bring Magic Missile up to a level 2 spell. I receive a chance to trip each guard that takes damage, which is all three of them. If one of them is dead already, sending two to the guard closest to Van.

Van advances north 20 feet until he can see the metal man, and nods his head in recognition. "Yo guys, check this out. That metal guy is a gearsman robot. Use adamantine weapons on it if you got 'em, and electricity fries them better than other elements, although the guy can put a nasty charge on any weapon he's carrying. If you don't kill them, they can heal themselves eventually."

With the melee combat apparently well in hand, Van uses his higher caster level wand of Magic Missile against the gearsman.

A little morose from being out in the jungle again, Van mostly keeps to himself on the journey out of the city. Although when Mavarion quickly makes a bridge simply by concentrating, the gnome is suitably impressed, "Cool trick, my man, cool trick."
