I too would be interested in a Pawn Set of "huger than Huge" size of creatures.

Almost a year and a half later - still looking for a Map-Pack for these ships for all the reasons I said back when.

May we please have a Map-Pack for this?!?

Would be nice if someone did a picture of the whole ship to match the plans. Would be nice to have that to show players along side map.

Second a desire for a side view so as to show as to visually show adventuring party's progress.

What happened to assembled maps inside the pdf?
I love those in the older Map-Packs.

This feature would be extremely useful with this Map-Pack!

Any chance of a revised pdf Stephen?

Thank you.
I will.

Love Paizo bases!

These green ones work well with my orcs & goblins and with my ratmen (aka skaven).
And I use the blue and red ones too.
AND I will be purchasing more of each!

Paizo, can we please have more colours of bases?
At least the medium ones please?!?

I would really appreciate it.

Is there any way to get the bases in more than just black, red, green and blue please?
I could really use as many different colours as Paizo is willing to produce for my gaming.

Disappointing.

Will be going into the very back of the map folio.
And at what a cost!!

Or will I be selling my first item about a decade and a half on eBay?
Might be my first item for sale in the 21stC there.

Need to recoup some of this outrageous cost for nearly nothing in some fashion.

What about belowdecks?!?

Will there be a map pack coming out for that?

Anyone who does nautical adventures knows that way more often than not the items(s)/person(s)/whatever that needs getting/stealing/rescuing/whatever is belowdecks, not just sitting out above board somewhere.

Not only yellow and orange options, but purple, brown, white and grey ones as well to say the very least.
And that ignores the usefulness of pink, sea green and sky blue along with gold, silver, bronze, chartreuse, lilac, tan and clear.

In other words, I can use as many visually distinctive colour bases for my pawns as Paizo is willing to produce.

If all you want is one pawn, the secondary market such as eBay often has individual or mix and matched sets available for purchase.

From some sets it is one type of pawn I need, not just a single pawn of a particular beast.

For example, I need to utilize not a single hippogriff, but D6 or 2D6 hippogriffs.

I bought the Bestiary Pawn set.
I really like the quality of the pawns themselves and the artwork.
On the other hand, I could only use 1 of the small, 3 of the medium (actually it is one that is duplicated three times), 7 of the large and 1 of the huge.
Granted, that does not include the 12 white, black, green, blue or red dragon pawns that I may be able to use on rare occasions.
Let us say I do use all of them - that would be 24 total pawns.
That is out of a set that has 256 different pawns with additional numbers of pawns due to multiples of a number of them.

Now, I have already been told that I screwed up; I should have just bought the pdf.
I reply that no I did the right thing because I would have not known what great quality the pawns' construction is if I had.

Before someone asks, let me state here that I am playing in a well known fantasy setting from a well known company in the industry.
I am not going to say what company or game because they come with a lot of baggage out here on the Net and that baggage is not pertinent to my inquiry here.
All I want to do is find a better way for a non-Pathfinder player to spend money on Paizo pawns without having "tons" of useless product, physically and/or digitally, hanging around.

Any way, my idea about how to go about this does not have Paizo coming up with a new physical pawn set.
My idea concerns a pdf.
A pdf which would allow a purchaser to select so many small, medium, large and huge pawn images from around the Paizo pawn stable and purchase that file as a custom pawn pdf set.

This set would allow for a non-Pathfinder gamer to purchase Paizo pawns without feeling like we are getting gypped.
All we, the non-Pathfinder gamers, would have to do is print then paste these images onto the pawns we cannot use from the initial pawn set we bought and then we would have the quality pawn construction with images that work for our gaming.

Actually, I have a question that needs answering at this point.
Let us use Ogres for this question.
They are Ogres in four different sets: Bestiary, Giantslayer, Monster Codex and Rise of the Runelords.
THE Q: Is any artwork repeated across the Ogre pawns of these sets?
I know within a set it is, but is it across sets?
If the image art is not duplicated across sets, then that multiplies what I would desire from the existing Paizo pawn sets because there are several monsters in the same situation as the Ogres that I can use in this special pdf set idea.

Moreover, this pdf set would also allow me to get pawns of monsters which are almost alone in their utility in my situation.
For example, all I want from Bestiary 2 is the Hippogriff.
Or the Wyvern from Hell's Rebels.
And there are several more monsters that have similar problems.
Do these examples make my pdf request more understandable?

Is this really a ridiculous appeal?
Is there anyone else that would like this pdf option?
This would allow me and thousand of other gamers like me to give Paizo more of our money without a great deal of extra work on Paizo's part at very little investment cost on Paizo's part.

I take it that this flip-mat pack is coming out in January for this Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Planes of Power that I just got an e-Mail about!?!

When are we getting previews?
The Campaign is out so the maps are complete, yes?
So there should be images.
Especially so when they want us Map Subscribers to be willing to spend twice what we normally do.

More ships!
Excellent!!
Can never have enough multi-deck ships!!!

Now, I just have to buy two of them so that I can have persons on deck and below deck at the same time.
That will be a hefty chunk of change.
Not looking forward to February's expenses!

Hmmm. Sorry folks, there's no wide bridges in the set. I didn't see your desire for them until well after the map was designed (I design these things pretty far in advance). I will sneak in a wide bridge in the very next pack such a thing fits. I'll even make it a stone bridge.

Thank you for responding.

It is great to hear from someone within the process.

Due to my own experience in the industry, I understand the lead time factor.
It is the only way that a company can stay in business despite what the average gamer believes.
It is nice though to get some feedback from the powers that be in this format.

Thank you for the declared intention for a wider bridge in the future.
It has great potential utility within Pathfinder and abroad.

And yes, stone would be the desired material. ;^)

Months later - no word.
Really Paizo, are you listening to Mosaic - a Maps Subscriber?

I keep getting told that Paizo is the company that actually listens to their customers.
Are you?

Let me, also a Maps Subscriber, nearly three months later reinforce this need - we need wide maps along with the chasm-crossing narrow ones.
Okay?

Please make this M-Pack have wide utility.
Okay?

Sorry for the delay in answering; I am not usually here plus I have had some health challenges recently.

I would not want to cancel right now because I would then lose all my priviledges between now and January.

Someone pointed out that I should wait until the preview pics are up.
Another pointed out that the maps may not be as "bizarre" as the title suggests and will be far more useful than imagined.

Thank you Diego for the offer.
At this time, I would like to defer doing so.

Why is this set part of the subscription?!?

These are so specialized that anyone that does not play Pathfinder or another of its ilk has no use for it.
Yes... because basically no games ever have floating castles, giant cave systems or seas. *Facepalm*

*Facepalm*?!?

You make no sense Milo.

Never seen a map for a floating castle;
Lots of large cave systems out in reality and fantasy;
As well as seas in both.
Every piece of mapping other than one has been useful in the one game I play.
That was when I was told what I was told by the Customer Service agent.

What point were you trying to make Milo?
It seems to have no connection really to my issue whatsoever.

I know I have no use whatsoever for these and now I am going to paying $25 for maps that will sit in my map case doing absolutely nothing for all time.
That is unless I pay eBay or somewhere else a pretty penny just to get a portion of that money back.

This is one of the rare times I am completely and totally disappointed with being a Paizo Map Subscriber.

I know it's a bit of a hassle, but you can ask Customer Service to cancel your sub in December after the Armada Map Pack and then restart it yourself once these have shipped in January.

You're not forced to buy them.

I was informed last year by a Paizo customer service person that doing that was against the agreement that one accepts when one becomes a Paizo subscriber.

Since I find most of the Map subscription adaptable to the game I do play, I rather not lose my privileges.

In this day of such computerized automation, a subscriber could reasonably expect a button or some other such 'device' where one could push/toggle/whatever it a reasonable time before the release day (e.g. 45 days afore) and not half to take every map idea that comes across the developers' minds.
Is this really too much to ask?

Like these?

If yes, there are also red and blue ones.
If no, then I must be confused - please explain further.

Why is the projected S&H for this flip-mat 45% more than any standard sized flip-mat before it and the one coming out two months later?!?

Is it just me or my computer, but are most of these images look at long distance and that is it.
I really do not mind the Paizo golem, but it was getting really irritating to see after it came up the seventh straight time when I clicked on images to see bigger versions.

Someone, fix the page!

Hey Paizo Folks!

Love the Flip-Mat Classics!
Any chance at Map-Pack Classics?!?
This would be a perfect set for such.

Think about it if you have not already.
Thanks.

Can we please have this map join the Classic line?
I could really use it.

Will the Pathfinder Maps subscribers get 20% off the pre-order of this map along with the free pdf like we did/do with the Classic maps?

This map certainly increased the size of portfolio I am looking for to function as a map case.

I too am asking as to whether or not this is the February entry for the Map Subscription?

Is Paizo going to do a Map Pack for the cabins and the below decks for this product?

There are cargo hatch grills an both ships and plenty of forecastle and aftcastle cabins to play in.
Paizo always says: "Don’t waste your time sketching when you could be playing."
Therefore, we need a MapPack for these items here.

Yes?

Would having the old Paizo GameMastery Map Pack: Slums be useful with the mat and this pack?
Or would they clash?

And the one sample does not enlarge!

Some of us are newbies and do not know the old maps.
Are you going to let us see what we could be buying?
