Can someone please tell me why on the Pathfinder RPG Core rolebook at pag. 562 is told that a temporary negative level grants a new saving throw to remove it each day, but on the Bestiary at pag. 299 into is told that if the saving throw is not passed the negative level bocomes permanent?

I've got a simple question: are Magic Items still in effect when the character uses a spell like Beast Shape to change into an animal?
For example, if I wear a "Belt of giant strength +2" does it still work when I use Beast Shape II to become a large animal? Does the belt bonus stack with the +4 size bonus of the new form?

I've got few questions for you.
What's the correct behaviour to maintain when a Rogue (with many magic objects) is trying to hide using stealth while someone else is tryig to catch him using a detect magic spell.
All the magical objects have an aura that can be perceived, but the rogue is hiding, can the rogue hide also this aura or the spell will automatically detect it?
What changes if the rogue is under cover?
