See...that's what I thought too. I'd be interested to see an official answer. Not that I don't appreciate your input because it supports my thoughts on it. But ya know...gotta show my DM.

So the spell Field of Razors states:

"You grind a chunk of your choice of metal to fine dust between your hands and blow it into the air, where it grows into a tangle of wires covered in razor-sharp prongs. The metal must be of a type you currently have in your possession. The covered area is difficult terrain. A creature that moves through the area takes 5 slashing damage per square traversed.

If a creature takes slashing, piercing, or persistent bleed damage while inside the thicket, you can spend a reaction to grow the iron in the shed blood into additional wires, expanding the burst by 5 feet. You can grow the area four times in this way, to a maximum of a 40-foot burst.

The barbed wires are made of the metal you chose and activate resistances, weaknesses, and the like normally. The metal reforms in your possession when the spell ends."

Since the barbed wires are made of the metal I chose, if I grind up Abysium for it, does that mean that anything in the field should take the Sickened condition until they leave the field?

Thanks

Awesome! Very good advice. Thank you!

So I have an upcoming encounter for my group of level 11 PCs that involves a Child of Venom https://app.demiplane.com/nexus/pathfinder2e/creatures/child-of-venom, flavored to be ink instead of acid. The room that they are fighting in has a static effect of areas of Grease (as per the spell) around the map, as well as a lair action that will potentially blind my PCs. Children of Venom have a pseudopod attack that does Push, as well as a Sneak Attack against flat-footed enemies.
The idea is that the Child will Push the PCs into the Grease spots, triggering a Reflex save or fall prone...rendering them Flat-Footed and susceptible to the Children's Sneak Attack. To help with the difficulty, I've given the Child Weakness Fire 10.
Is this still too hard or will it be an interesting encounter? Also, what would you recommend for the DC of the Fortitude Save DC for the blind and the Reflex Save DC for the Grease?
Also, any helpful and interesting ideas would be appreciated!
