As an addendum to David's very correct post, what usually causes your card to be declined on Paizo.com is failed address verification: the address on record at your bank or card issue doesn't exactly match the billing address you've entered at Paizo. It's an anti-fraud measure.

The billing address I was using for my card is the exact one on my bank statement so it's a little strange that it didn't work.

Hello, I was attempting to purchase a PDF of the new Pathfinder Advanced Player's Guide and kept getting a "card declined" message. I tried several times thinking it was the billing address or the card number but never succeeded. I woke up this morning and checked my banking app and saw that the money was extracted from my account 12 times and I still didn't get what I purchased. Is there any way to fix this?
