You think something is wrong with Ularrka. Ularkka talks to the air, even when no others are about. Ularkka argues with the winds! You do not know the winds as Ularrka does.
They mutter, they howl, they can be playful, they can be cruel. They are the only things keeping the great ships moving when the sea currents are still. Ularrka knows.
Perhaps Ularrka never should have asked the old one to teach how to talk to the winds. Now everyone thinks Ularrka is mad. But Ularrka wanted to be different, to be special. Ularrka wanted life to be an adventure. Ularrka did not wish to settle for working in wood and bloody surgery like his father no no.
Ularrka was a very foolish youth. But lessons were asked for, lessons given, and Ularrka nearly died being shown how to talk to the winds, how to have them talk back Still, at least Ularrka has Bonaria. Now, Ularrka travels with Bonaira, helping others with the winds , and helping Ularkka even more.
