Initiative:
Jonas' spell fizzles having no effect on any of the cultists. Elf 2 pulls out a rapier and dirk and slashes at Galvan. The rapier catching on Glavan's right thigh causing 9 hp damage. The dwarf charges Isari swinging his battleaxe in a high arc that Isari dodges with just a step to the left. Human 2 pulls out a light flail and swings at Sunaj clipping his shoulder causing 6hp damage. Isari is up.
Killikil Knikk: flight recorder has the approximate location of your pod as well as the nearest equipment pod and aerial photo of the surrounding area. Using the aerial photos you can determine the equipment pod is to the northeast about 150mi and the landing pad is 200mi to the west. Also the pod is sending out a distress signal, give me a Computers: Bypass Security to shut it off.

Initiative:
Galvan lopes up the elves swings his great axe in a wide arc cleaving through the defenses of both elves and crippling the arm of one. (I had to move you to w-14 for that maneuver to work.) Human 2 rushes Sunaj swings and misses.
Jonas is up.
Initiative:
The tiefling spins around to face Sunaj as a stunned look crosses his face. "I only do what the Master wishes and the Master wishes you dead." She raises her hand and throws balefire at Sunaj hitting him in the left leg doing 4 damage and 5 ongoing fire damage. Sunaj reacts to the balefire attacks and let looses his spiteful glamor on the female tiefling even before the balefire reaches him stiking her with it. Galvan is up.
Mission briefing:
The Grunash system: Located on the far side of the White Light nebula, Grunash is a red giant with 5 planets all gas giants, Hidel, Dridel, Nidel, Feidal and Ginny. Hidel the planet closest to Grunash is a hot gas giant with only one moon, Xilot. Xilot is a earth sized blue moon and receives most of it’s light and heat from Hidel instead of Grunash. The system was charted during the end of the second Sathar war by a scout ship piloted by Varak Grunash (all the planets and moons were named after his children). The scans of the system indicated that Xilot has a rich nitrogen-oxygen atmosphere capable of sustaining complex life forms and also holds large deposits of rare minerals. The UPF military wished to build a outpost in the Grunash system in case of another Sathar incursion and several mega-corporations wished to exploit the resources of Xilot, none had the resources to do so alone so a consortium was formed between the UPF and the mega-corporations to defend, explore and colonize the system. The UPF would have control over all military operations, land, sea, air and space while the mega-corporations would establish a base colony allowing for the detailed exploration and exploitation of Xilot’s resources. The UPF starship Kitzz’Itz, a troop transport during the second Sathar war, was overhauled and re-commissioned for the sole purpose of delivering all the equipment and personal needed to establish a permanent colony on Xilot. End of brief> It has been seven years since the end of the second Sathar war the inner colonies a booming, the Humma, Ifsnit and Osakar races and worlds have been admitted with full rights and responsibilities to the United Federation of Planets almost doubling the size of the UPF. With the Sathar threat diminished the UPF and its mega-corporations once again put exploration and colonization of new planets as their top priorities. Rumors of a consortium being formed between the five largest mega-corporation and the UPF military to explore and colonize a distant world full of riches spread through out the UPF. When official word was released asking for volunteers from all fields to join the exploration and colonization of the blue moon Xilot millions answered but only 6,532 were chosen. Members of all races, specialists from all fields of study, corporate and independent exploration teams as well a UPF land and space forces and your character all assemble and board the UPF spaceship Kitzz’Itz. The two month trip on the crowded ship is stressful to personnel and equipment but disappears instantly when the captain announces the ship will be exiting hyperspace. The faint hum of the hyperspace engines rev’s up to a crescendo and a wrenching twist in your guts tells informs you that you have left hyperspace. The sounds of explosions forward and aft rock the Kitzz’Itz as alarms sound throughout the ship. Several more explosions wrack the ship before the order to abandon ship is sent. You grab your emergency kits and race to the nearest escape pod, when the six of you are seated the pod is ejected and you finally see the cause of the explosions. The Kitzz’Itz is under attack by unknown frigates, the bridge and engines belching flames and oxygen into space. Small fighter craft swoop in and begin shooting down the escape pods. The escape pod automatically begins evasive maneuvers dodging in and out of the wreckage heading for Xilot below. Dazed by the crash-landing you stagger out of the pod in a daze into a dark dense forest. As you recover from the landing it dawns on each one of you that you are now stranded on a unexplored hostile planet with on way to contact help. The only ray of hope you have of rescue is a barely glimpsed class F landing pad you saw as you were crashing.
You lead the cultists into a small market place with only two ways in and out. Feeling that this is a good ambush site you shout out the code word to begin the ambush. Galvan: Spoiler:
You know this market place is controled by the Kanili thevies guilds. It has a small alleyway to a enclosed courtyard the the guild use for meeting and to sell illiect goods. Any property damage here will not effect innocents. Isari, Galvan and Jonas tell me where you want your characters to start on the map. a-z on top 1-26 down
Thewl and Sunaj haven’t posted in a while so we'll go with Galvan's plan to keep the game moving along. I will play them in the upcoming encounter. I assume that Isari, Galvan and Jonas are in one group and Thewl and Sunaj are in the other and that you have also prearranged a signal to begin the ambush. Isari, Galvan and Jonas make a show out of leaving the precinct house and let slip they are heading to the Hollier estate.
Isari, Galvan and Jonas give me a streetwise and perception tests to determine if you get the cultists into the best ambush position.

The city watch and the courts would both have the descriptions of any person who has committed multiple minor offences or a major crime (murder, public fraud, etc.).

Going by how they are dressed 3 of the humans appear to dockworkers or laborers, the last human and elves look to merchants and the tifling has the dress and manors of a student. The dwarf of course is wearing the leather apron of a stone cutter. any use of a power outside of combat only lasts 5 minutes.
Sunaj: You notice about 8 people in the crowd outside seem to working together spying on the jail while pretending to be part of the press gang the Redcaps are organizing. Also out of the corner of your eye you think you see the eladrin you’ve seen before but as you try to get a better look you can't see him in the crowd.

A crowd begins to gather around you as you carry the cultist to the precinct house. The closer you get to the

The Redcaps jump into action on Galvan's orders, two Redcaps pull a interior door off it's hinges to make a make shift carrying board while two other start tearing the drapes into strips and braiding the strips into a rope to tie the cultist disguised to the door. “Ready when you are ‘sir” a Redcap says to Galvan when finished. As you quick march to the pricent house I need a perception check from everyone.
The rest of the house is empty of people and the only damage to the house was caused by the combat. The circle is only part of the house the cultists altered and is a match to the one found at the Hollier estate. Jonas: You could swap their clothing but both mages robes were severely damaged by the combat.
Galvan, Thewl and Isari are able to restrain the kicking and foaming-at-the-mouth screaming thugge. It's obvious to all the the man has lost touch with reality and any further infomation gotten out of him would be suspect. Jonas: without speaking the language all you can tell about the prayer is it is some kind of mantra. A few minutes after the fight more Redcaps show up, "Drop your weapons your under...", looking at Galvan "Sorry sir didn't know you were here, your orders"?
His chanting slows to a stop and he looks at Galvan, “My wife and sons where taken by the Master. I called the Redcaps and told them my family were kidnapped but they didn’t believe me, they looked at me like I was crazy and said why would anybody kidnap an entire family of a poor dock worker and walked away. My local councilman wouldn’t even speak to me“. With an increasing amount of hysteria in his voice, ”I started looking for them on my own, looked everywhere. I was arrested a few times for trespassing looking for them, then the master found me. The master took me to my wife and sons, he told me they have been saved for the future. What future I asked and he spoke of a time that’s coming where the dispossessed will overthrow the rich and powerful and the corrupted city will be replaced with an Eden. “The master said my family will be returned to me if I joined the cause”. “I was sent here with orders to kill you to send the message not to interfere with the master”. “ I have to save them the master will kill them for my failure”. With a mad shriek he lunges at Galvan biting his face and scratching at his eyes.

"The master was right you only care about the ones with money, when my family was taken the redcaps and the local councel did nothing", he spits at thewl. "Forgive me master for doubting your words" he shouts and then starts chanting a prayer in primordial over and over.
Cowed by Thewl's demener the thugge drops his blade and falls to his knees begging, "Please gov'na don't kill me I didn't have a chave a choice. The master comanded me and I had to obey, the masters watching me now,. Protect me from the master and I'll tell you everything I know". He reaches in his shirt and pulls out a amulet like the ones taken off the thugges killed by Galvan at the Hollier estate the night before. The thugge rips the amulet off his neck and throws it to the floor. When the amulet hits the floor it anamates and trie to bite the thugge but missesand then stops moving. "Did you see, did you see it move, the master controls all the new commers like that, he says its to weed out the unfathful".
Thewl runs up the staircase. Galvan bounds off the sofa catching the railing above and pulls himself up to the second floor. Rolling his head and letting out a loud snort Galvan lowers his head and charges the mage goring him and knocking him to the floor. Sunaj moves forward and disappears from sight as a eldritch fire-bolt streaks out to strike the mage as he cries in pain and moves no more. Jonas is up.
Initiative order/Condition meter:
Thewl, Galvan and Sunaj unleash a flurry of steel and eldritch magic against the mace wielding thugge reducing him to a charred pile of meat. Jonas reflexively raises his staff to protect himself from the mages attack and manages to divert the thunderous concussion around him avoiding the effects of the spell. Jonas is not dazed and doesn’t take 12hp from the spell. The remaining thugges drop their crossbows and draw short swords the one next to Isari shifts one square over to confront Isari directly while the other rushes up to assist. The thugge on Isari thrusts but Isari easily deflects his blade. Isari is up.
Initiate order/Condition meter:
Jonas moves to the foot of the stairs and castes his spell, The shadows around the mage and thugge next to him begin to grab and claw at them but other than a minor distraction the shadows have no effect. The two thugges on the second floor fire their crossbows at the approaching mage. Both bolts strike Jonas, the first doing 6hp and the second doing 9hp for a total of 15hp damage. The redcaps rush forward a little too late to protect Jonas from the bolts and form up in front of him. The novice wildly swings his mace at Thewl; Thewl easily blocks the mace and notices oily liquid dripping from the mace’s spikes. Isari is up.
Sunaj eldrich blast hits the mage on the second floor engulfing him in green-black flames. Staggered and burnt the mage hisses a comand at the remaining thugges "Our master will reclaim what belongs to him. Two shall rise for every one that falls. Destroy the infedels!". The mage is now bloodeied.
Jonas is up.

I believe Isari already used your 20 to make his saving throw. Thewl steps up to the advancing novice and with a quick slash of his sword cuts deep into her arm. Thewl pirouettes with the novice switching places. Galvan advances toward the novice ready to bring down his axe in a devastating blow but slips on the gore covered hardwood floor throwing off his aim and making Galvan miss.

Sunaj: you need to make a saving throw to shake of the effects of the poison or you will take 2hp at the beginning of your turn Isari: You forgot to add in the +2 for flanking on your attack roll, I added it in for you. The two remaining red caps move into tighter formation stepping over their fallen comrades to protect Jonas and Isari. The novice on the second floor leaps over the railing and advances towards Galvan as he hefts a large spiked mace. The remaining two thugges on the second floor shoot their crossbows at Isari but thanks to the aid of the redcaps both bolts are deflected before hitting Isari. Isari's blade hits the thugge with a thunderous crash sending him sprawling to floor gasping for air as he breaths his last. The mage on the second floor sends a magic missile into Galvan striking him between the horns doing 11hp damage. Thewl and then Galvan are up.

The eldritch dagger bites deep into the enraged thugge. Blood begins to flow freely out of the wound but no recognition of pain registers in his maddened eyes. Jonas is up.
Galvan's axe slices cleanly down seperating the mage's head from his body. As the head rolls on the floor it mouths silent words slowly stoping when the redish glow from the circle fades away. Initiate order/Condition meter:
