I think one of the biggest things for my wife was that it is a coop game. She has never played an RPG before and i don't think she would, she's played settlers once at a friend's house and hated it but when i told her it was a coop game she said she'd give it a try.

I gave her Valeros because i thought he'd be easy for her to play and she says she is enjoying it. We played our third attempt at Brigandoom last night and finally won with Valeros and Lem. The biggest thing is being patient as she is still looking at her card every check to see what dice she gets to roll.

I bought the game for myself a couple of weeks ago but my wife was home when the shipment came and wrapped it up as a Christmas present. I haven't played a pen and paper RPG in 20 years and thought this would be a good way to get that feel without a DM or a group.

I have managed to talk my wife into playing with me and we are terrible. we have only played twice but have yet to beat brigandoom; she plays valeros and i played kyra then lem and kyra. We keep running out of turns and i am starting to think we should split up but i have been avoinding that to date.
