They call me Tuco 'Tailor' Rizer on account of the bloody rags I wear and my sewing skills. Story has it though that if you come to me in tatters I make sure you get out in one piece; I s’pose that’s where the name came into play... at least that be what I tell myself. Being down in Smokeside has its advantages you see? I learned how to survive, and how to fight despite the choking field of magic while many of my lesser peers simply waned off.

Not me ‘do, I’m a tough one. Tough enough to get called on by smugglers and criminals who need to be patched up after a bad run, and tougher yet to fight them should they tell me I ain’t no expert. I always thought I could be a doctor, and I think that’s how I got the idea to go Skyside and see what the world was. Stupid me though, not knowing how magic works there... let’s say I may have caused one of them events. Who knows who I hurt but truly it weighs on me so, but they won’t want me up there anyway to ‘elp fix it. I won’t be no fool for much longer, we tough and we fight out of this soot and murk somehow.

That’s why I’m talking to you. I want to make things right. I want to become better than I is. I want to help those who can’t be helped you see? I know that power is in me, and how fitting it be to talk to a mirror to find out who I am. Well, I hope ‘dis message finds you well, and should you be in the need for even more of an apprentice I can hear your calling. I can keep these studies even in this place, swear it.

For now though I got a job to do, some bloke wanted me to help an investigate some murdered people. Them guys who do the writing for those much more proper then ‘em. Guess I can try see, though truthfully I ain’t too good with those already dead, I tend to try my darnest to stop that from ‘appening.

Cryptic Omens (Ex): Once per day after consulting, she can gain one of the following benefits without taking an action: gain a +2 insight bonus on a saving throw she is about to attempt; gain a +2 insight bonus on a Bluff, Diplomacy, or Sense Motive check she is about to attempt; or instead of rolling initiative, treat her initiative as if she rolled a 12 on the die. She can’t use this last option if she can’t act during a surprise round. She doesn’t choose which benefit she gains while consulting the mirror; instead, she does so when she would be about to roll a saving throw, initiative check, or appropriate skill check.

Seek Guidance (Ex): Whenever the mirror witch consults with her patron fragment, she can spend 10 minutes instead of the usual 1 minute and attempt a single Knowledge check. She gains a +2 insight bonus on any Knowledge check she attempts during such a consultation.

Greater Omens (Ex): The number of times per day that the mirror witch can use cryptic omens increases by an amount equal to the Intelligence modifier of the patron mirror. Furthermore, after consulting with her patron for 1 minute, she can expend a use of cryptic omens to gain the effects of augury instead of one of the usual three benefits.
