Confident (if not arrogant) of his skill and the outcome going in his favor, Towyn has a remarkably nasty habit of shooting off his mouth when things would go so much smoother if he just kept quiet. While this can often lead him into trouble, his cocky nature and magical prowess lend him a weird sense of admiration. No matter how bad things get, Towyn is certain that he can pull through, and in desperate times, that can be a true morale booster. It also means he refuses to back down if he believes he's doing the right thing, in spite of the odds and who opposes him.
Towyn prefers to keep his arcane prowess a secret until the last possible moment, but that isn't to say he won't go into the fray unprepared. If he can get the drop on foes, he'll do so and gladly. When the situation is ideal, or he needs to really show off his strength, he doesn't hesitate to use his draconic power to cow his enemies into submission, nor cook them if that doesn't work.
