Dermot cackles madly with delight as the dragon and his rider fly away from the noxious green fumes. "Ahh...that lunch must taste pretty good the second time, right?", he says laughing.
He flies around the waterfall and sees one of his enemies holding a greatsword. "Here! Try on this crown of fire Emperor!", he screams as he ascends above him and casts a bomb.
Round 4; Initiative 22 Blinking to clear his eyes and wiping snot from his nose, Sammy directs Shadowtooth to fly to O3-P4. Feeling robbed of his victorious strike against Inscidia, he attempts to raise his lance to the crowd for some adulation. When he almost has his arm fully extended he doubles over and vomits off the side of shadowtooth. Already nauseous, upon hearing his rider vomit Shadowtooth cannot keep his own bile from rising. Vomit jets from Shadowtooth's mouth like some kind of putrid breath weapon. His vomit flows like a green river making a resoundingly loud "splat" as it strikes the hard sandy arena floor five feet below.
The depth of the water is unknown so that charge may not have taken place. If not then Inscidia probably lives. If that charge is not negated then we are up 3-2 most likely.
IIRC a charge had to be unobstructed.
I asked earlier about if the water would be enough of an obstacle to keep me from charging and the DM answered it here
Dermot watches in horror as the rider strikes Inscidia with his lance. Screaming with rage he pulls out a bomb as he flies over the wall towards the waterfall. "Eat this!" he yells as he hurls the bomb at the creature's head.
Move to J12. 15' elevation.
** spoiler omitted **
DM nvm :):
It appears he targeted my Eidolon with his bomb, can I use Mounted Combat to negate it? If so, my roll is Ride: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (5) + 16 = 21 with a target of 33.
Edit: Subtle gagging and gasping begins to emit from the green fog that enveloped Sammy and Shadowtooth. Joining the subtle gagging is some very loud hacking, like a huge dog choking on a bone
Round 3; Initiative 22 Seeing Inscidia flee before him Sammy yells to the crowd, “I thought we were here to fight, not run! This is a battle, not a marathon.” Sammy and Shadowtooth’s heads follow Inscidia as she runs away from them around the pits and to the other side of the arena. Observing the path she has chosen he cries, ”You should have run to cover, YA!” and urges Shadowtooth to charge her. Shadowtooth charges Inscidia, ending at E8-F9, still 5' above the ground. (Swift Action) Sammy’s lance begins to emit faint whisps of smoke as he lowers it to charge: Arcane Strike.
(Full Round Action)As Shadowtooth charges Sammy aims his lance at Inscidia:
Cursing her luck, she decided to reposition and get a new start.
Withdraw to D7, going all the way around the pits. The first square doesn't count for AoO, and being 5ft high I should be out of range of the Lance otherwise, is that correct?
I will ignore the AoO, if one is legal, for the sake of expediency :). Is that your action?
Round 2; Initiative 22 Sammy watches the agile lady leap over the wall with ease and then run to the wall beside his team. As he wheels around Shadowtooth to face her she looks up and sees him. He smiles widely as his legs squeeze against Shadowtooth and he screams, “Ya!” as he charges towards her lowering his lance.
(Swift Action) Sammy’s lance begins to emit faint whisps of smoke as he lowers it to charge: Arcane Strike.
(Full Round Action)As Shadowtooth charges Sammy aims his lance at Inscidia:
Round 1; Initiative 22 A silent man wearing grey clothing, a grey chain shirt, and a dark red tabard with a black figure of a shadowy dragon stands next to a large beast resembling a black dragon that emits faint wisps from its scales with every heaving breath much like a warm drink on a cold winter morning.
(Free action)Sammy turns to Shadowtooth and fluidly leaps onto his back and stands in his stirrups raising his lance high for the crowd: Ride:1d20 + 14 ⇒ (11) + 14 = 25
(Standard action)Sitting back into his saddle, Sammy casts a spell for himself and his teammates:
Spellcraft DC 17:
Haste
(Move action)With a powerful leap off the ground, and the eerily silent flapping of large wings Shadowtooth soars to N11-O12, 15' off the ground.
DM:
What does it take to fly through the water? Is it coming down hard? Can I charge through it? Can I hide behind it? Just trying to get an idea of my options :).
How do I edit my position aside from uploading the picture again?

I forgot that the Eidolon is d10 HD. Are we using avg for pets? That would be 5.5x6=33 for a total of 57. If we use half it comes to 5x6=30 for a total of 54.
I was originally going for the invisible wrath, but the image of a dragonrider hiding in an Arena just doesn't fit well :P.
I am going to fly to the top and watch the smart ones scatter like ants. :)
Round 16, Initiative 17 Johnny yells to the crowd, ”He seems to be yielding, but just to make sure.” Johnny turns to Tyrus, “This may hurt a little” If the first arrow knocks him unconscious, Johnny does not fire the second.

The actual DC would be 40 taking into account the distance: 40^2+50^2=~64^2 so a +6 to the DC? Johnny scans the skies for any whisper or sign of dripping blood to determine the location of Tyrus. Johnny seeing a drop of blood come into view just as it leaves Tyrus' foot spots his rough location and casts a spell, outlining Tyrus in a bright green light.

A creature can generally notice the presence of an active invisible creature within 30 feet with a DC 20 Perception check. The observer gains a hunch that “something's there” but can't see it or target it accurately with an attack. It's practically impossible (+20 DC) to pinpoint an invisible creature's location with a Perception check. Even once a character has pinpointed the square that contains an invisible creature, the creature still benefits from total concealment (50% miss chance). There are a number of modifiers that can be applied to this DC if the invisible creature is moving or engaged in a noisy activity. What modifiers will you apply to pinpoint his location to a 5' square. If I ready an action to cast a spell if I can locate him, will it still be a straight competition between his stealth check and my perception check regardless of the stated -20 penalty if in combat or speaking and the -10 penalty for making a full move? Also if he targets an item in someone's possession is that the equivalent of targeting the person? The spell reads targeting an unattended object will not break the spell, but the object is attended. Thanks :)
I will wait for you to adjudicate before deciding my next action.
Edit
Also for the DM:
From the Stealth skill: Your Stealth check is opposed by the Perception check of anyone who might notice you. You can move up to half your normal speed and use Stealth at no penalty. When moving at a speed greater than half but less than your normal speed, you take a –5 penalty. It's impossible to use Stealth while attacking, running, or charging. ... Special: If you are invisible, you gain a +40 bonus on Stealth checks if you are immobile, or a +20 bonus on Stealth checks if you're moving.
So since he is moving at greater than half his normal movement, but less than his full movement he should incur a -5 and a +20 for being invisible for a total of +15 before his skill modifier(The rules are vague about making a full movement).
Also if I ready an action to pinpoint the location of an immobile invisible target it is DC 40, but once he casts a spell my DC should be 20, adjusted for distance and environment, before he gets a chance to move and restealth.

DM:
That seems like a lot of distance if he is angling upwards
No, I figured that he would simply hover. The entangle is visible and apparent to everyone who can see it.
Walker slithers towards Tyrus, ready to attack. The vines try to get hold of him, but his body is too thick. He looks up at Tyrus, hovering 10 feet above him. He can still reach him with a good lunge.
I moved him to F20-G21.
That may be too far, he only has 20' move and I assume he cannot walk through the firepit.
Round 11, Initiative 17
Walker Reflex Save: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (10) + 10 = 20 Johnny flies to N21(Move action) and shifts back into normal form(Standard action), and commands Walker to Attack Tyrus. (Did he need to make a Reflex when he went down to touch Archy or become entangled?)
Walker Reflex Save or become entangled: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15(The DC was 14, right?)
Walker AC=22 (+2 AotB)

If Walker succeeds on his save he backs away from the pit to E12-F13.

Bull’s Strength on Walker for 52 rounds: +4 Str
Aspect of the Bear on Walker for 555 rounds: +2 AC, +2 CMB

Round 8, Initiative 17 Will Save: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (3) + 11 = 14 Johnny remains frozen in place, Walker unsure what to do with his target unconscious and his master uncommunicative moves back to E13-F14 to defend Johnny
Who needs to make a Reflex save? Edit: Rgr. I'll wait for the DM to adjudicate :) Edit #2: Lol, I know what you mean. I guess one could allow taking 10 if it is not already.
Beckett tries to press himself against the boulder, but his movement is hampered by his bloody feet. Johnny Red, keeping eyes on him, runs along the bonfire and points at Beckett, commanding his giant snake to attack. Walker Black slithers forward and lashes out with his fangs, missing him and hitting the boulder instead.
#1: If I notice the location of Tyrus and can reliable target his square, I cast Faerie Fire on that square. #2: If I see Beckett, I move to G15 and dismiss Spike Growth(Standard Action), and point at Beckett and command Walker to move to E13-F14 and attack him. (Free action, use Walker’s Readied attack result) #3: If I roll horribly on perception, I will cast Aspect of the Falcon on myself and move to I15. And command Walker to Defend me.
Round 5, Initiative 17 (Move and Free Action)”I thought we were the cowards! Where you running too?” Johnny moves to K15, while pulling out a potion, and commands Walker to defend him, and Walker moves to cover him at I13-J14.
(Standard Action) Johnny Drinks the potion:
Round 4, Initiative 17 Seeing the arrows fly up into the air Johnny yells to Beckett, ”What? I thought you liked collecting your little wooden trophies.” Johnny moves to N17 and commands Walker to defend him, and Walker moves to cover him at L16-M17. Johnny casts a spell and touches Walker:
Johnny AC=25 (+4 Shield) (unless I only buffed Walker, if this ever gets answered :P)
Walker AC=26 (+4 Shield, +2 AotB)
Shield, 6 rounds:
Bull’s Strength on Walker for 57 rounds: +4 Str
Aspect of the Bear on Walker for 60 rounds: +2 AC, +2 CMB
I am still confused about what is going on. Are you meaning to target me, or Tyrus, which just moved behind the rock? Who is your Snake attacking? Your teammate is the only one close enough, or are you confussed where you are at?
You went out of my LOS by going south behind the boulder. I went south on the other side of the boulder opposite you so I could shoot you from there. Walker is following me around and just preparing to attack anyone that comes my way :). Johnny doesn't know where Tyrus is currently, since only Walker saw him.
The Defend Trick doesn't specify, but I would assume it would attack whatever comes within range and threatening me. I guess the DM can use the readied-attack as the AoO, if that is unacceptable. Evidently according to the prd, I don't have to give it a command, by default Walker Defends me. The grapple is a part of the regular attack, i.e. Grab. So if the attack lands, he gets a free grapple attempt, if the Grapple lands he gets the bonus Constrict damage. So it goes Attack>Grab>Constrict all as a normal attack
Edit: If that was a spell being cast. Spellcraft 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10
Round 3, Initiative 17 Seeing Beckett move to the south on the other side of the large stone, Johnny moves to Q17 with Walker following to occupy O14-P15 (Move Action), and commands Walker to Defend (Free Action).
Johnny then takes a shot at Beckett with his bow yelling, “You shall yield eventually, Pin Cushion. Here, let me add to your collection!” Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13
Damage:1d8 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Miss Chance: 1d100 ⇒ 53
From the PRD: Of course, the subject is not magically silenced, and certain other conditions can render the recipient detectable (such as swimming in water or stepping in a puddle). If a check is required, a stationary invisible creature has a +40 bonus on its Stealth checks. This bonus is reduced to +20 if the creature is moving. The spell ends if the subject attacks any creature. For purposes of this spell, an attack includes any spell targeting a foe or whose area or effect includes a foe. Exactly who is a foe depends on the invisible character's perceptions. Actions directed at unattended objects do not break the spell. Causing harm indirectly is not an attack. Thus, an invisible being can open doors, talk, eat, climb stairs, summon monsters and have them attack, cut the ropes holding a rope bridge while enemies are on the bridge, remotely trigger traps, open a portcullis to release attack dogs, and so forth. If the subject attacks directly, however, it immediately becomes visible along with all its gear. Spells such as bless that specifically affect allies but not foes are not attacks for this purpose, even when they include foes in their area. How you rule will determine my actions
Johnny Red and Beckett the Wolf Lord see each other through the gap in the boulders. Johnny gestures as he casts some spell. Archy and Beckett can see each other as well, but Archy has the boulder as cover.
DM: Is it possible to move Johnny to Q13, and put a big black square where Walker Black is?
DM:
If possible I wanted the squares around the target not on him, kind of like a pinwheel. One square from E14-H11, D13-A10, C14-(-A17), and D15-G18. Ignoring areas that do not meet the terrain requirement.
Round 2, Initiative 17 Heading in the direction of Beckett’s voice, Johnny moves to Q13 with Walker following to occupy Q11, Q12, R11, R12 (Move Action), and commands Walker to Defend (Free Action).
Perception:
1d20 + 14 ⇒ (2) + 14 = 16
If Johnny does not see an enemy, he will cast:
Spellcraft DC 16:
Aspect of the Falcon on himself
If Johnny sees an enemy, he will cast:
Spellcraft DC 18 or Perception DC 28:
Spike Growth, he has 6 20’ squares and will surround the enemy with said squares. (1d4 damage per 5' square walked through and a reflex DC18 or movement is halved for 24 hours), if the ground is not suitable I will just buff :)
Johnny strides forward to T11, while drawing his bow, with Walker following to occupy T9, T10, U9, U10 (Move Action), and commands Walker to Defend (Free Action).
Johnny then yells to the crowd while sneering at Beckett, “I think this dog needs a bath!” and casts Aqueous Orb on squares A11, A12, B11, and B12DC 18 Reflex or take 2d6 non-lethal damage, a second DC 18 Reflex save or become engulfed for anyone within the squares the orb occupies.

I apologize, I do not have LOS or LOE to those squares. Instead, I will make the same move, but instead of Aqueous Orb, I will cast Bull's Strength on Walker.
For some reason I thought the stones were puddles of water, my don't I feel sheepish..

Johnny then yells to the crowd while sneering at Beckett, “I think this dog needs a bath!” and casts Aqueous Orb on squares A11, A12, B11, and B12DC 18 Reflex or take 2d6 ⇒ (6, 1) = 7 non-lethal damage, a second DC 18 Reflex save or become engulfed for anyone within the squares the orb occupies.
